Pipe clean methods - asking for imput.

SWIMs pipes getting pretty bunged up and making the smoke very harsh. Been smoking mostly clean freebase jungle spice out of a bulb tube (methpipe) with a torch lighter.. and i'm guessing the plant fats are accumulating.

Was wondering what would be the best soak method to break down some of that plant material so SWIM doesn't go into a pre-asthmatic fit after bubbling up a fat dose, was thinking a vinegar soak, but just wanted to get some imput.

Try the common household stuff first: vinegar, washing soda, isopropyl alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, etc. If it does not work, try industrial acids (hydrochloric / muriatic), bases (sodium hydroxide / lye), and solvents (acetone) from your hardware store, usually the paint section. It is hard to tell what will work since it is unclear what you may have there.

A simple way to remove organic matter is to burn it with the hottest flame that your glass can handle. Whatever is left is not going to vaporize at lower temperatures.
