What is your professional skill set?

How do you use that to be productive in today's society?

Do you think dmt helps you understand and utilize your skill set better or are they two totally unrelated things for you?

Maybe by creating a dialogue we might be able to find like-minded nexians 😊
Most of my experience has been with the metal industry between milling and fabrication or some form of construction. At the moment I'm working a position doing high end residential landscaping. One of our recent contracts was half a million dollars in intergalactic credits the one I'm working right now is somewhere around 25 thousand.

I'm sure there's other members who work metal or construction in here :) maybe we can learn things from each other

I'm a senior software engineer with a singular focus on the backend. I can't really say which industry the software I work on is being used in, but 3 of our top 10 clients are in fact in the top 5 most developed and influential companies in this sector with millions of clients.

While it may sound cool, in fact working for the very best comes with one massive drawback - they can be incredibly picky and particular about things and you can't really say much against it because nobody wants to lose their bread & butter clientele.

Interestingly enough, I haven't taken any psychedelics ever since I started programming professionally. Before that, I did use psychedelics (mostly LSD) largely as a tool to heal all the suffering that I was going through because I kept working jobs I hated. However, when I started coding for a living the need to have a coping mechanism disappeared simply because I adore my job.

I am preparing to dive back into the psychedelic realms with some mushrooms so I will report how that makes me feel about what I do professionally and whether it helps me or not. I know others have greatly benefitted from journeying in terms of their professions, so I'm curious how it would look for me.

Nice thread, thanks for starting it.

Cheers <3

I'm CEO of a small business after years of struggle and suffering working towards it. It's amazing how all that intention invested over the years can eventually pay off when you find your niche. The saying "success is when preparation meets opportunity" rings true.

I've learned to quit fighting for major change. My personal business ultimately failed because I floundered about ,focusing on all the wrong things. Taking one's time and slowly investing into the goal seems to work best for me. I'll relaunch my homesteading attempts but for now I sharpen my axe šŸŖ“

I'm still interested in investing in your business in the future if we can find a way to do this "safely" per Nexus rules. I think it would be nice if we could find a means to create a means of anonymously supporting each others goals and businesses within the Nexus. I know we have a few independents and people who could use some support here or there.

It's amazing to feel things suddenly fall into place after all the hardship :)
