Psychedelics and personification

Migrated topic.

Does anyone else have a tendency to personify things while on psychedelics? I've had conversations with the grass as well as with a forest. I've seen a giant eyeball out in the forest which was some sort of spirit and had a very brief conversation with it. The forest near my house was very interesting. It played a trick on me with footsteps which seemed to get very close to me. It also went into psychedelic craziness for about 5 seconds and then seemed to say to me "We're a collection of trees. What are you expecting?" I'm inclined to believe I'm just disassociating from myself to have conversations with myself in a productive way. I'm interested though if others have similar situations of "telepathic" conversations with inanimate things.

I think it's pretty normal.
I was telling my friend that my bag could take care of itself, when his cat was attacking it. He said the bag couldn't fight back, but I told him, he didn't know the bag like I did. To me, the bag seemed very capable of defending itself when needed.
I've had a relationship to a big beech tree, whom I lovingly called the mother and who taught me a thing or two, who carried me in her metaphysical womb and held me in her branch-arms. Conversations usually carried out without words but I that doesn't matter.
I've met entities twice, I've thought my couch was a portal to hell, and my vacuum cleaner some kind of demonic communication device. Things are not always what they seem. Everything seems to be communication in some sense or the other. What is the message, who is out there, is there anybody out there?

And once again I don't think it's really important to know whether you are actually communicating to something outside of you or something that is within. These distinctions become irrelevant. Making a distinction will only serve your rational to discard or discredit what has happened, deeming it as 'not real', when the experience actually did happen - to you. Instead isn't it better to just accept that something was experienced and whatever feeling it gave you was/is valid, no matter what caused it. All experiences are valid ones, everything conceivable exists in its own space. Whether that space be within you and you alone, or within hundreds or millions, or whether it exists within all, I'm not convinced it matters. If there is a gain, there is a gain. If not, then perhaps you're not looking at it the right way :)

Read The Secret Life of Plants... the mysteries of consciousness extend much further than one might imagine. Channel "normal" is a very narrow bandwidth. ;)

I talk to my plants regularly. I lived with a big tree once that flowered out of season, for the first time in ten years... ON MY BIRTHDAY.

Everything is communicating and interconnected...

Not so sure about "inanimate" objects, as I haven't had any experiences there, but I believe lots of salvia reports deal with being confronted by the phenomenon.
