Hey guys,
SWIM was wondering if instead of using mimosa for q21's tek, if phalaris arundinacea could be used it instead. The reason SWIM is interested is because of the higher alkaloid content in phalaris and since it grows in SWIM's neighborhood, it would be much easier to obtain, not to mention cheaper. SWIM knows there are phalaris teks out there, but q21's tek is much preferred because it uses lime and of limonene is used it is 100% food safe.
SWIM failed his first extraction last night due to a glassware failure(leaving mason jar in direct contact with bottom of a pot of water on the stove while heating to warm the naptha. Entire contents of jar emptied into the water. vinegar, water, lime, and mimosa:x . Though it's entirely SWIMs fault)
