Hello all,

In Earthwalker's tek he says to let the basic solution to cool down to room temp before doing the naphtha pulls. But dmt only dissolves in naphtha at higher temperatures, and the naphtha being in the cooler solution long enough to shake and separate will separate out will also cool down. Should I keep my basic solution warm when doing pulls? Thanks !

Just follow the tek mate you don't need to complicate things for yourself in regards to something as little as that, just keep it in the water bath when basing, 10-20 mins before you add naphtha take out, make sure your naphtha's hot then add that, worked for me

Yeah I guess you're right. I've done a few other extractions successfully and they all said to keep it warm while pulling so I was just curious. I already have a nice amount of crystal and im about to put it in the freezer. Ill post pics in the morning.

Not True...at all.
DMT dissolves in a range of solvent temperatures (inc room temp) . It can hold a little more when hot and not very much when freezing.
(this is why freeze precipitation works)

Hot naphtha pulls in a room temp aqueous layer has advantages. (see Max Ion tek)

Just follow the tek. That's why we write them.
