Question about using DMT daily or multiple times daily for a long period

preceded by

does not read like you expressing your opinion, but you stating an objective truth that cannot be argued against.

I'm all for you sharing your advice and opinion in a balanced manner, but perhaps making it more clear from the start that this is your personal opinion and should not be treated as the one Truth would lead to more productive exchanges between you and others. ;)
Got ya 👍
Thanks I would hate for anyone to misinterpreted my opinion with the absolute one truth
and not doing it everyday.

I think it has been said before but maybe don't give advise on something you haven't tried yourself.
When you have actually taken DMT then you would be able to more validly share an opinion on frequency of usage.
I would add that harmalas don't necessarily imbue one with more capacity to smoalk moar often. If anything, the opposite may carry more validity in that when adding harmalas, you've ostensibly adding another medicine. There's more to understand and navigate at that point.

If mushrooms can be used more frequently with rue (ime) why wouldnt dmt? Im certain if you use rue frequently youll have an easier time tripping on dmt, and it will be easier for your brain to recover, wether to a small or big extent

It might be concerning if/when there is no clear beginning or ending to the period of use and instead a person is simply clinging to the experience. If it becomes your total identity to just keep smoking DMT every day and be that person, then from the outside that does seem unbalanced and most people move on to a more manageable pattern of DMT use sooner or later.

The same goes for DMT with harmalas.

If you are essentially microdosing DMT then that’s not really the same thing. I’m talking about real tripping. You can not integrate an actual trip per day.

You can not integrate an actual trip per day.
Do you feel this relative to the magnitude of content and experience? I generally agree, but then I consider myself. There are plenty of times that I've smoalked, tripped, been somewhere else, and I just hung out, so there really wasn't much to integrate. Granted I am also the nutcase that will use another medicine to integrate a prior experience. The medicine path I guess.

Perhaps tiny little doses of mushrooms just to add a touch of light to an experience that is rue dominated maybe. But that’s not because the makes mushrooms easier.

Rue makes a typical dose of mushrooms much more difficult IME. It also lasts longer.

Yes, before i got used to rue even eating some seeds after the peak would send me to space, but after i got used to rue these psychedelic spaces do not make me incoherent, im still tripping but my mind is very clear and i can just think my way out of any bad situation

You can not integrate an actual trip per day.
Indeed. It can sometimes take months or years to integrate a profound experience.

Do you feel this relative to the magnitude of content and experience? I generally agree,
I think we can all concur that if integration and working on oneself is the primary goal then daily use, especially for any prolonged periods of time would not be happening.

but then I consider myself. There are plenty of times that I've smoalked, tripped, been somewhere else, and I just hung out, so there really wasn't much to integrate.
Yes, which is where it comes into other reasons for use at such frequency. Prior habits from other drug use influencing, or escapism and kind of dissociating from ones actual life, which is a common trauma response. "Just hanging out" in the space, for no reason other than to escape ones ordinary consciousness would be basically a description of that.

Granted I am also the nutcase that will use another medicine to integrate a prior experience. The medicine path I guess.
Thats one of putting it, but I think the term 'medicine path' and 'self-medicating' don't necessarily mean the same things.

And now more seriously, do we really need the thousandth edition of "ex addicts project their fears on @Voidmatrix"? Let Void be lost, disrespect the molecule, not integrate, self medicate, escape reality, and cope with trauma. That doesn't prevent you from following the Right Path. As we can see, while the Right Path results in humble, nuanced, and open people, Void's drug abuse has resulted in an arrogant and insufferable jerk that can't let one minute pass without commenting how other people's practices are wrong. Let him be in his spiral of arrogance, disrespect, and addiction. Don't let that taint your epistemic and personal humility.

Really, do we need this conversation again?

You can speak for yourself, but you don't speak for me. You're just showing the limits to your own understanding around why and how people use substances. Might wanna check in with your predicate assumptions.

Oh yeah? Again, speak for yourself. What am I avoiding when DMT terrifies me? I engage a lot of hard things on a regular basis in these spaces. Again, what am I escaping? Dissociated? It helps dissociate less .

I guess if we're meant to always engage with what's real and "ordinary consciousness" then we shouldn't watch movies or be entertained. You see how goofy that stance is now?

How astute of you. I still stand by what I said.

If it's any consolation, I am on break from DMT and changa right now :ROFLMAO:

This feels like an appropriate time to share that I have been in the midst of a downward spiral, whereby my daily pancake consumption has degenerated to insufflating raw pancake mix throughout the day. My coworkers seem confused whenever I blow my nose and proceed to eat my pancake boogers, but so far they haven’t asked any questions.

I'm not 'speaking for you' which is why I quoted you in broad agreement. If you want to change your opinion now however, thats fine.

You're just showing the limits to your own understanding around why and how people use substances.
Again, that would be your position. I could likewise easily say touché though.

Maybe thats for you to answer. But at the same time you dont present yourself as some kind of model of what healthy DMT use is. And yes, there is a range of what that would look like is my view. So your use may be working for you, or it may not be, but at the same time since you are coming on a public forum and telling everyone all about your use, questioning and analysing it, when it is not typical - is to be expected and is necessary.

The fact that you are reacting to this perspective, which I do think is basically accurate, is your own issue.
Your own experience and actions are your own of course. As soon as you share it however, it is open to interpretation what it means and what the motivations driving it are. Thats just the nature of open dialogue so if you don't like someones perspective in understanding your behaviour around something, then maybe don't share so much.

I guess if we're meant to always engage with what's real and "ordinary consciousness" then we shouldn't watch movies or be entertained. You see how goofy that stance is now?

Thats a goofy example to give yes, but doesn't really change my earlier point. People can definately 'zone out' watching movies and entertainments though thats true.

Sorry to hear about your degenerated raw pancake mix , your probably best to stop snorting it though !
and maybe make Some Yorkshire puddings

So your use may be working for you, or it may not be, but at the same time since you are coming on a public forum and telling everyone all about your use, questioning and analysing it, when it is not typical - is to be expected and is necessary.
Then time to question this:

Don't you think your behavior towards this question is driven by you having been addicted to weed? It seems to me that you either fear or despise that previous situation of yours, and thus try to self-soothe and prove to yourself that that's not you anymore by attributing your old behaviors and motivations to someone else.

Many other people post publicly about their drug (word that you reject in favor of pseudo-religious euphemisms probably for the reason stated above) use here, and yet you almost exclusively focus on analyzing Void's use. Casually the most vocal daily DMT user here.

So, I see in you the rigid behavior of an ex addict that needs to feel in control, and to tell himself that "he's not like that anymore" by projecting "that" in an Other. A less patient person than Void would have told you a specific cavity to shove your judgements in and to deal with your issues by yourself, but he's not like that.

Now, explain yourself. This is to be expected and necessary.

And I'm going to keep insisting in this every time daily DMT/changa use or the mention of alcohol trigger you (no matter if you ignore me), because I'm pretty tired of seeing you pass judgement on Void as if you were some kind of ascended master. He can afford being more open about his issues not because he has more, but because he's able to face them. You could learn from that, no daily anything use involved in it.

There's no opinion or stance that needs to be changed on my part. What about yours? And sorry, I am not seeing the "broad agreement.

The answer is nothing.
Who said I was presenting myself as a model of healthy DMT use? Is healthy use a monolith or is it contextual? How many times have I said "don't do what I do?"

As soon as you share it however, it is open to interpretation what it means and what the motivations driving it are. Thats just the nature of open dialogue so if you don't like someones perspective in understanding your behaviour around something, then maybe don't share so much.
Duh! That's why I am here, to talk about it. But just because you think something about me doesn't mean that you're right. It's mainly speculative until I confirm or deny any interpretation you already have. That said, you were off base, I let you know, you don't want to shift, and so here we are. Ima keep sharing as I have been, and correcting your interpretations of me in the process :D I wonder how many people benefit from my raw authenticity? I don't just do it for me, ya know.

People can definately 'zone out' watching movies and entertainments though thats true.
They must all be escapist addicts with mental health issues then. They probably shouldn't be entertained...

I noticed you ignored this? Why? There's a pattern here.
