Hi I'm currently doing a b caapi extraction. I'm letting the lye caapi solution settle for the first time, alkaloids are formed and slowly falling in spirals to the bottom. It's been resting about 15 h but only about 2cm of the solution is clear. There still a lot of alkaloids falling. Just wondering if it's normal as the tekI'm following doesn't specify. Is there any way to speed it up?
Thanks 😀

I see....I'll defo keep that inmind.
I'm going to make some changa. 😁
Can I disolve everything in ISO alcohol?
I can tell you how I do it.
Baking tray with boiling water .
Small beakers / Shot glass will do, inside the tray.
One with the Harmalas in and one with some alcohol .
When the alcohol is heated take an droplet thingy and start adding a few drops of warm alcohol onto the Harmala ,stirring.
If you just pour alcohol onto the Harmalas you will have lumps.
Finally add all the alcohol to the Harmala.
It wont dissolve 100% but its the best you can do.
Then add the DMT to the Harmalas, stir and then the plant material.
I use just enough alcohol so that the level is a few millimetres above the plant material.
Then I place it under a pc fan and for best results stir every 15 mins as it evaporates.
After that like to place my changa in an air tight jar with desiccant gel bags.
Good luck.
