It's very nice of the author of this news article to finally introduce and make widely known the key figure in the dmt underground, aka Rick Straussmann, who, as we all know is the child of the composer Johannes Strauss and Rick Strassman.

For those unfamiliar, Rick Straussman was conceived via hyperspace intercourse and he gestated for 400 years before being delivered to this world and subsequently introduced in this news article.

Yes the college newspaper is the main source of information. I am curious to find out the real story. I bet it has nothing to do with consumption of DMT or any other psychedelic drug for that matter.

I think people like to blame drugs because it makes them feel better about human nature. To think that a person would do something horrific terrifies them because it reminds them of what we are all capable of. So they read an article like this, and think "Oh how terrible, it must have been the drugs that sent him on a killing rampage".

The journalist goes on about DMT to provide salvation for human nature. Yes going on about the military would be a more reasonable approach, but that would be considered unpatriotic!

Satan was invented for the same reason. "Oh how terrible, Satan seduced him into going on a killing rampage."

It's a release from guilt. Passing the buck. Drugs are the new Satan.

Sorry, this isn't a funny matter but I had to, as he was teh first person I thought of when reading this.

Very VERY sad, and I see little point of adding that he was interested in DMT...he also was probably interested in women and maybe even MUSIC....but that really had little to do with what happened.

I dont mean to give the story extra press it is simply that I to do not think DMT has anything to do with it and I would like to know the facts(yes mabey impossible to get facts from media:wink: )

Going around talking and obsessively about ANY subject can be a symptom of mental illness that is what makes it note worthily not the DMT aspect. They could have reported the guy talked insessivly about transdental meditation wich he did but dmt is more SHOCKING:shock: The guy did have issues thats for sure and his unusual behavior could have been a cry for help that was not recognized until it was to late.

I enjoy sweeping all the dirt to the center of the room and picking thru it looking for bits of truth . Some just want to sweep it under the rug on into a corner and forget it. I am driven to remember and inspect it.:lol:
