Removing Water from Naptha

What would be a good desiccant for this? Calcium chloride? Magneisum Sulfate?

put it in the freezer. the water will freeze but not the naptha, then you just pull out the chunk of ice.

I am not sure that will completely work, although it will get most of it, no doubt.

A small amount of water is soluble in naptha (for sure) and I am not convinced that the water in the solution will freeze to the bottom. For example, if you store vodka in the freezer the water does not freeze and sink to the bottom.

magnesium sulfate is a good dessicator.

yes, i hear if you bake the magnesium it will want to find water molecules to bind to..

why is it important to remove water from the naptha/wouldent it pick up water during the separation anyway?
