Hello all, after few pulls of naphta the basify water from an a/b tek seems to don't have more dmt, and now i am thinking to put in that water some mhrb(who was acid cooked few times)and let the lye to break the cells walls and get al the dmt out of the bark.
Do you think is a good idea to use that water who has 1:3 NaOh:water(1 gram lye for one gram mhrb)? I am too lazy to make another mix lol...

Is this a serious question even? Sounds like trolling to me honestly. In any case, if you are being serious... which is highly unlikely, I do have a question for you, so please answer. Pardon my nonchalance! What are you doing starting threads on a dmt extraction forum, if you aren't even familiar with basic information regarding Ph in a solution?

May I be excused, I am aware of the fact that we are all here to learn, but some seem to not only be not logically inclined, disregard the great encyclopedia collected here, but want others, if possible, to "do their extractions for them". Not to mention the all time mentioned spoon feeding. I mean, come one people... You have got to try a little harder than that. It takes more to start a post here than to actually figure out these simple things for yourself... can you? If you can't that is another side of the story and you should reconsider it all together.

One thing I ask myself now is why do I even bother? It is my first post on this forum. I've created this account to learn new things and I've decided that the best way to go about, after I've signed up, was to read, not write. It's been a couple of months since I am here and I did manage to understand some things, I am not yet anywhere near to physically deal with such processes and procedures but technically I understand. I've also began to digest the way of the nexus, health & safety, attitude, etc. This all took me some months. Sure, I've got my opinions, although no need to write. My same points of view are already being shared here. Ain't that fantastic?

On another note, today I did actually decide it was time to post something. Having randomly reading your active topics in the welcome area sir, I had to chime in and tell you (among other things that should be told); make sure to not smoke leaf enhanced with dmt salts. It is bad for your lungs. From what I understand related to that is, that only freebase is good for that purpose, and that's why people use it.

Have a great time! It is great to be here

P.S : Laziness and psychedelic craftsmanship/alchemy in general do not match. Remember! What you get out of it is what you put in. And if you care about yourself, others around you, and about this holy friggin' living nature we inhabit, you'd best start to change your ways.

That's not a very good attitude, to be honest.
Working with powerful chemicals and powerful substances requires some respect.

Please also watch your language, the Attitude page is clear about this. I don't want to be discriminating but this behaviour raises red flags for the admins.

A quick google search for "lye solution shelf life" will give you the answer... so think twice before posting in the forum.

No confrontational attitude
Diversity, constructive criticism and differing opinions are welcome. Nobody has to unquestioningly agree with everything in this community. Nevertheless, we do not want a confrontational attitude, members that are constantly antagonistic, that turn arguments into fights and worsen the atmosphere. We don't appreciate dramas or excessive sarcastic posting. If one is not happy with a discussion, respectfully state why or don't post at all. Don't use the Nexus for venting your personal frustrations, please question yourself why is each post being written, if it is beneficial to the community. Please tell any moderators if you have a legitimate complaint or suggestion about the forums, but be patient and don't fuel drama. We are constantly trying to improve this community and need your help and patience for it.

There is nothing wrong with asking questions. There is no such thing as a stupid question. But what you're doing is like asking "where can i find this book in this library" to every person you meet. The library has a computer. And the Nexus has a search function.

This is what i got from typing in "reuse base" in the search.

Oh hello! In grammar or ortography? Could you be more specific?

I was replying to the OP.

Also think about the following: Watch your language - Communication is comprised of not only the explicit but also the implicit messages, which are transmited through choice of words and general tone of speech.

The intent of base reuse is not evironmment but laziness, which I believe lowers the chance of getting a quality answer.

Yes, the basic soup is technically reusable, but will lower the yield probably and contain some unwanted reaction products (see garbage-in, garbage-out rule in organic chemistry).

Also having a MHRB containing lye solution laying around is not a good idea for security. This is a straight evidence of person attempting an extraction (i.e. "drug manufacture" ).

If time is of concern, one can prepare aqueous lye solution beforehand - this can be stored indefinitely provided the container is air-tight (otherwise it will slowly react with carbon dioxide from the air).

If environment is of concern, just dilute the solution. For acids and bases, "dilution is the solution" - lye is not environmentaly harmful (it will find something to react with and form a neutral salt). I guess one can neutralize the lye a bit before flushing it.
