rue tea

hi, i am searching this forum for a while and can't find anything about rue tea.. i have non-grounded seeds,how long should i boil it or how long to soak in cold water to get tea for drinking? and how much watter for 3 gram dose?

heat water to boil
grind 4-5g rue to dust and add to tea bag and seal
add bag to boiling water
continue boiling for 3mins
decant and drink

its nasty imo
best to extract
