Salvinorum A extraction

Migrated topic.
hello, has anyone had any success with this?

The idea came to me since the quib method can be bitter, taking Salvinorin A Sublingualy from the extraction would be the ideal way, right?

lets collaborate and maybe something good will come out of this

From a dreamer experience, salvinorin alpha is not responsible for the sublingual effect by itself.
Dreamer made a few trial and it needs some of the chlorophyl and oils of the plants to work well.
Salvinorin a is good to vape or smoke, it works a charm.
There is a way to do tincture that aren't that bitter. I would suggest you this route.

Sublingual or rather call it mucosa tincture is Dreamer favored's route for administering this plant.
It might be weak some time and send you far, with possibility to navigate in other realms.
Highly recommended as an alternative to chewing dried leaves.

Pull with iso alcohol, or acetone, and let evaporate.
Its extrememly potent, so its recomended to after pulling, mix in a smaller amount of leaves when evaporating. These leaves will then contain the extract.

For sublingual use you can pull with ethanol alcohol, and evap off until the desired potency.

You can also make the desired "x"
Extract from 20x the amount of leaves you mix it in for 20x
For example if you had 100 grams, you could extract from 95 grams, and put it onto 5 grams. This would leave you with 5 grams of 20x.

quids work better than extractons for oral use..quids always work for me..the tinctures dont..they get to dilluted with saliva and dont absorb well it seems..when you quid it covers more surface area and it absorbs more effectivly.

Extractions are only useful for smoking for me.

I have never got the quid method to go too far. How many leafs do you use? I have read to go directly from plant to mouth or you loose something... I tried that and still didn't get a whole lot.

I enjoy a good quid on a somewhat weekly basis. For me its more about how long you are holding it not how many leaves you use.

I have read to use anywhere from 8-28 leaves, but I just reconstitute a few pinches (I have only used dried so far) and fit what is comfortable in my mouth. I would say it should be about the size of a cigar cut down to 2 inches or so. I move it around, chewing and leaving it between my lower teeth and lip. After 20 mins I spit that out and start a new one.

Sometimes I chew for up to 1 hour even though most guides will say 30 mins. You will most likely never breakthrough or even have visuals with this method however due to reverse tolerance it can become more intense over time.

I feel that with this method it is a great thinking tool. I find my head is clear and it could be great for meditation. If I focus on my breathing I can produce light CEV's.

Most of the time quid just makes me what to smoke extract, which can lead to rather strong experiences.

A sitter is highly necessary for anyone trying a quid/extract combo.

"A sitter is highly necessary for anyone trying a quid/extract combo" ?
when is a sitter ever required ?
iv been thrown across the room by salvia - gravity turned 90 degrees - i didnt need a sitter
i dont get it - what does the sitter do ?

Some people happened to wander around like sleep walker.

I felt on the floor and my "sitter" sit me back, however, I wasn't hurting myself, I could have stayed on ht eground. That's the only thing the sitter did anything for me besides picking up the bong.
I've seen few bong falling on the table.
So a sitter may be useful if you have an expensive glass pipe you are afraid to break.

Apart from that, I like being alone especially with sublingual/mucosal salvia absorbtion.

i recon needing a sitter - is in a way irresponsible - i know i may get some may point their flak cannon at me for saying this.
but if one needs a sitter - they arent ready for the substance - i feel one must experience the experience for what it is.
i live on the second floor - i smoked alone - i could have fallen out my windows - i didnt.
i should have smoked it outside on flat ground - that would have been more responsible.
if one knows salvia and how fast it hits - they would smoke the bong correctly - not try hold onto it - rather inhale, hold the breath, put down the bong, exhale - or use a different bong.

Sure but the first experimentation are better with a sitter present I reckon. It's still a good advice for newbies.

When you understand the salviadynamics, you may smoke alone (as most users do after ).

hrmm - thought about it more - ppl vary - i dig all things alone, guess a sitter can be a positive thing. (a non tripping person would just bring me down)

My quid/extract combo waring was aimed at first timers. If you are comfortable with Sally then go for it, but I know that I can black out and walk/roll around on floor uncontrollably with high doses. I always have the intention of sitting calmly with my eyes closed but sometimes I wake up on the ground conversing with entity's.

A sitter is a necessity for beginners. It can alter the experience negatively if they try to talk to you or stare at you, for me just their presence makes me uncomfortable. BUT, as a beginner it is impossible to know how you will react! It is a very different experience than any other entheogen, one can never be prepared IMO.

For instance:
I was with my friend guiding him on his first expedition into the carnival. Set and setting were perfect. He hit the bong held it for 30 then all of a sudden stood up screaming and running and waving his hands around batting at things. I calmed him down and when he woke up he explained the universe was being sliced into pieces and he was running from the blade as the universe was disappearing behind him.

Had a sitter not been there who knows what could have happened. IMO it is irresponsible to suggest one is not needed. You will get to the point where you don't need one but the Nexus stance should always err on the side of caution for the safety of our travelers.

I'm not sure about that. I think it depends on what type of person you are. Whenever trying a substance for the first time, I always prefer to try it on my own. Not really sure why, I guess I find solitude more spiritual. Also I find that if you are not 100% comfortable with that person, it can turn put a very negative spin on your trip.

But I guess for some people, having another person with them can be comforting and help with pre-flight anxiety.

Lets put it this way..when Kathlene Harrison first took it with the mazatecs..they had one sit on eachside of her..like only a foot or so away..they definatily dont do that for the mushrooms.
