Seperating gramine from alkaloids?

This is my first post here on nexus and SWIM is looking at doing their first extraction however due to the price, legality, and finding reliable MHRB SWIM is thinkin about using Phalaris. The problem is the gramine.. Would recrystalizing leave the gramine behind in a slag if someone were to do so?. Also would it be worth the trouble plant your own phalaris brachystachys than going with the wild phalaris I would find along rivers and ponds?.

if you are thinking of wild arundinacea than yes, I would grow some brachys..if you have wild brachystachys in your area than maybe that would be good..room temp limo and naptha pulls will not pull gramine.
