shaking the lye/bark soltuion

hi swim will do noman tek and has a couple questions how much does one have to wait after skaking the lye bark solution a night or a couple of hours??? also swim was wondering if its ok add a little more water then the ratio that the tek ???
and if swims m-
ore water to the soultion would this affect in lowing ph of the soultion that swim read that it is good that it stays at ph13 if it lowers ph with water my question is does swim have to put a little more lye ???? or will it be ok with the normal ratio swim will test with 50 grams of MHRB

GO with 50g bark/750ml water 50-75g lye (no such thing as too much). As for shaking, SWIY could in theory shake it for 5 minutes, let is sit for 30, should be 2 layers, shake again, and end over end turning. This is of course assuming SWIY has added the naptha. Shaking before will increase surface area (chemistry 101) which will expose more bark to lye. Adding more water can be helpful when you need to, but there is no reason to add more just to do it.
