Smoke harmala extract infused herb without DMT / Vape DMT separately

I have limited amount of DMT 400MG and huge amount of syrian rue harmala extracts. I have so far have not had any problem in vaping dmt using a dab rig. Have had quite a few successful trips although no breakthrough. I've only been experimenting with low dose and haven't gotten up to go for a high dosage. I would like to experience the breakthrough with a harmala but due to the limited amount of DMT I have two options.
option 1 : orally ingest harmala alkaloids and then vape DMT
option 2: Infuse the harmala extract to herbs like blue lotus/lemon balm without DMT, Smoke it a bong and immediately followed by vaping DMT with my glass dab rig.

for some reason I am pulled for option 2. Seeking any experienced folks opinion on this if you have tried it.

I would go for option 2 if you want a changa like experience. I've done harmala infused leaf before and it works great and can be very intesne on its own. And you do not need to smoke the dmt immediately after, the harmalas last longer so you can take the time to get ready for blast off.

Option 1 would result in a longer experience like a mini ayahuasca (in duration not intensity :b).

Harmalas will definitely help you get moar out of the limted amount of dmt (y)

thank you so much @Sakkadelic , Just to clarify "can be very intense on its own", you mean smoking harmala infused leaf without dmt is actually intense? How intense are we talking about here as opposed to smoking it with DMT. so far I can easily tolerate the DMT space except it's lightening speed and was under the impression that harmala will actually make it more slow and enjoyable and less intense. I will of-course will be starting out with low dose harmala only.

I do small extractions and do not have a ton of DMT available either. Not for that reason, but the only way I do it is to pre-dose (smoke) harmalas. I've read that if you mix them that you aren't really getting the full potentiation on the first few hits. That way, you can also choose between a low level harmala and a higher level harmala experience easily.

I do want to try oral, or actually sublingual, harmalas pre-dosed.

If you smoke a hefty dose it will make the world spin, of course it is its own trip and not like DMT, I guess that can be said about any substance. but there's no need to smoke a lot, 10-15 mg is plenty for changa effects. and it is not as finicky as dmt so you don't need to worry much about burning it, I often just sprinkle some on top of weed and smoke it, works great! making harmala enhanced leaf is unnecessary but it is nice and more convenient than trying to smoke a powder.

and yes what you are thinking is right, harmalas will slow it down and spread it over a longer period, so from what you are describing it sounds like you'll enjoy it. you seem to be on a good track starting low and taking things slowly, keep it up!
