Sodium carbonate water

I made some sodium carbonate in the oven and when it was cooled down I checked the weight.
It lost about a third during conversion

I read ph of sc water should be around 8.5 to wash.

Well my destilled water is PH 7.6 and I added 0.1 gr sc to 100 ml water and stirred well.
the PH of the sc water is 10.3

Is this to high to do the wash ?

Yes I calibrated the meter

I made some new sc water with les sc, 0.05 g in 100 ml water.
PH 9.8

No thats not too high, thats perfect for a wash either way.
