Hi everyone! Hope your weekend is going good

I have been trying different smoking methods including meth pipe, bong and machine. I’d say the machine works best, folded by bong, I couldn’t get meth pipe to work for shhhh! Very harsh and not much effect with 30mg, I know it can be used but I just can’t get the hang of it.

Anyways, I’ve decided to go ahead with the purchase of a vapor genie, I know the gvg is meant to be the daddy but fearful of it breaking, so I’ve found the bronze Sherlock, they say on the website that it hits like the glass. Does anyone have any experience with it? I have searched here and on google can’t find anything really so hope you guys can help!

so i have been using the wood and glass versions of the VG,
in my mind the main difference for vaping spice is the diameter of the bowl. the wooden one is almost twice as big. this makes it more difficult to vaporize the spice. also because it is not see through you can only go by intuition on how much heat you need. with the glass one you can adjust the heat to some degree easier by being able to see the vaping chamber.

Are you sure about bowl diameter it says on website screen sizes are the same but the glass bat is smaller?

i just did check.
i was so sure about it, but they are the same size.
the main difference seems to be, that the top part of the wooden vapor genie is taller. seems like i always thought it is bigger because of the wood all around it make it appear bigger

Yes maybe that’s the case. I did read that the bronze Sherlock is shorter, I think I remember reading this. But the top bowl is the same, like I said would be nice to know if anyone has tried with the bronze Sherlock one. I can get round the not seeing vapor by adding some clear device to the end.

just so you know,
with the GVG you can actually see some of the DMT turning into a liquid form. and you can see it evaporating out of the liquid pad. so adding a clear peace at the end is not the same.
i do not know about the sherlock version, but the main reason i switched to the GVG is to be able to clean it properly with acetone

Yeah I’m thinking that is a major plus to see the vapor better. Like I said in the beginning the bronze one doesn’t have the chance to smash to pieces.

As for cleaning though it is metal so should be as easy as the glass version. Don’t have the money til next week anyways so still time to decide, heart says bronze Sherlock head saying glass

I would say go with the glass, and buy a couple of concentrate pads.

Also get a torch and you are good to go.

The glass works great, the bronze, who knows?

It's important to see the vapor in order to know when to take the large toke.

Just be careful when handling it and it will be fine. :thumb_up:
I'm the biggest klutz there is, and so far so good.

So, just slowly inhale till the vapor starts then go for it? Also, I was wondering is it possible to burn the spice while using the vapor genie?

Well, Went to order the gvg last night and they want $55 for shipping, adding that I need a decent lighter I have to put it on hold. I found a vaponic for $30, added a pack of concentrate screens and a good torch lighter (which I need for the gvg anyways) all shipped for 1/3 of the price. For now I hope it will do but I read a couple of post saying it works quite well.

I also made a smaller machine last night out of a 50ml bottle loaded up 40mg with no much effect, the bigger one I made was better it’s like a wine bottle maybe 700ml or something, it worked best but I’m still pretty sure it’s not for me. Tried spice up top of mesh and pre melting below, put some love in but still not what I would expect.

I hope I will get it next week and it will be better, I’ve used like I’d say .5 to .7 of spice trying to smoke it properly with minimal effect. Even loaded up 60mg 2 nights ago got some beautiful closed eyes visuals, crazy colors and it’s really had to explain, but like a digital mosaic with all different colors which was very cool.

But at lower dosage like 30mg I’ve not been experiencing much at all, and I know it’s because of the smoking device and my technique.
