stainless steel baster usable for extractions? or is glass needed?

I've got a quality stainless steel baster that I use for my cooking. I was wondering if I could use it for dmt extractions with d-limonene and fumaric acid, or if I'd need to order a ~30ml glass pipette instead? I had been using small eyedroppers in previous runs, but it's extremely tedious to remove a layer of llquid bit by bit like that. Thanks!

I just use a glass seringe and dough it is granted it takes time, makes my extractions hiper clean (for sure no lye in theese ones ) and i quite enjoy the time i am collecting the pulls. If you are into time saving i would recommend a separatory funnel cause with you stainless steel baster might be difficul to see when u r still pulling naphta or you are pulling solution.

Always go with glass, sometimes stainless steel is not forged well and will have a lot of impurities.
