Rising Star
Hey all, I'm a big fan of the work the nexus has done over the years. I've become quite proficient at harmala extraction, so much so that I can do it on complete autopilot, all thanks to the pioneering, though now somewhat dated work I'm familiar with by contributors here.
I randomly tuned back in to see about having a little fun... Making other salts, fumarates, citrates, etc... And imagine my surprise when I realized that the state of the art of harmala extractions has advanced significantly! My five or six hour long acetic acid boils are downright primitive! I have some chemistry training... I have a bit of experience with chromatography, etc.
My real focus is on voacanga-derived ibogaine. The profile picture is a voacangine crystal recrystallized in methanol. Looking forward to participating a bit and sharing some notes from my own experiments, and continuing to learn from the amazing people on this forum.
The word "medaase" means "Thank you" in Twi, something I learned during some time in West Africa studying voacanga africana and tabernanthe iboga.
Glad to be here,
Medaase
