So I have been brewing caapi and chaliponga together in one brew since I started brewing..but I have noticed quite consistanly that when I brew caapi only brews they keep way way longer..never seem to go off at all actaully..but whenever I plan on drinking with admixture it starts to smell bad or rotten after a few weeks..I usually brew more than 1 dose..so I end up throwing parts of the brew away if I dont drink it all really soon..wasting it.
Has anyone else noticed this? I think it has to do with the fats in the leaf..I bet mimosa would last much longer..and I always refridgerate my brews..I guess I could freeze them.
I just finished brewing 2 doses of aya..one for tonight and one for sunday night..but i brewed the caapi and chaliponga seperately so I can just combine how much I want right before I drink..so in case I dont drink sunday as well at least I know for sure the caapi brew will stay good.
