Storing the spice for the long term.

So it's been mentioned in so many places that it's not worth linking that the spice degrades over time.

I'd like to see about storing my spice to prevent oxidation or whatever it is that lowers it's potency.

Would redissolving in heptane/naptha do the trick?

dmt is a very stable molecule

if it degrades over time, its either very long time, or bad storage or negligible degradation

SWIM has smoked 2 years old DMT and it was perfect... the person had kept it in a folded coffeefilter paper inside a ziplock in the fridge..

SWIM also smoked 6 months DMT that was kept in a ziplock in a drawer, also perfect...

swim usually stores he's spice in the freezer @ -5 wrapped in plastic , swim tried the same but wrapped in alu foil
but it seemed a bit strange when swim smoked it a bit empty kind of experience, so swim used plastic instead and it was ok , also tried @ room temp both wrapped in different materials plastic vs alu foil , the result was that plastic seemed to conserve it more and left it with the same strength for at least 2 months after it started to get weaker , the alu foil made the spice go weaker by the day it didn't last a month after it was just a completly empty experience not even a single fractal, so swim decided to go for the freezer and so far plastic is the best
swim is trying to get a hold of small glass vial , swim believes that glass should be much better than plastic or alu foil

I once used one year old DMT that I kept at room temp in some folded paper bag for Pharmahuasca. It was a VERY BAD journey, all wrong, like I entered some party way too late. I would like to call it a depressing trip.

So don't keep it at room temp and don't let the air get to it.

Don't store it as crystals either. Gently heat them up until they melt but don't boil up and vapourise. Then allow it to cool into a solid blob. Now wrap in plastic and freeze. As a solid lump there will be no room around the crystals for oxygen to do its nasty thing.
