strange question

There is yaje 3/4 of the way finished on my stove. I have been filtering through a (somewhat) clean shirt.

Here is my question: should there be an oily iridescent film over my filtered brew? It could be something from the shirt, or just funk...

It's always there when In make it, t-shirt or no. Should be fine!
