swallowing xylene

Without embarassing myself too much (again) by explaining what this fucking DOPEHEAD did last night while working with xyelen and cactus, may i ask if swallowing a mouthful of xylene would have beene fatal, hospitalized me, blinded me, or just made me really sick?

probably burn real bad, or make you vomit (should vomit anyways), but probably not fatal

xylene isn't as toxic, as say, benzene.
it gets metabolized into something not nearly as harmful (aromatic aldehydes instead of epoxides)

Xylene is one of the very last items on my to-drink list. If it makes you feel better, SWIM sipped a mouthful of plant fertiliser yesterday thinking it was his weed olive oil extract. Do not ask why, they had the exact same color, damn! And he's still alive...

The human body can be put through so much and still live. You most likely will live. My very first succesful extraction I was swooshing around dmt saturated naptha for who knows what reason and it splashed strait into my eye a direct hit. lol it scared the shit out of me but I went strait to my sink and put my eye under some water. I'm supprised I can still see.

better naptha than lye (could've been blinded). sodium hydroxide will actually dissolve your eyes like soap dissolves grease.

aliphatic hydrocarbons aren't as bad. once got gasoline in my eye; it burnt like a son of a bitch, but that was the extent of it.
