I just love seeing people fiend for chemicals that get shipped out of chinese labs that have really no research done on them in regards to safety. Waiting for their mail in anxiety. Waking up and snorting MXE just to get through their day. Plugging them straight out of the bag. Dosing and then rambling complete nonsense into the chat.

It's just so beautiful! (Sorry I am so biased I think it's a pathetic drug. Blows my mind that people blindly trust these things.)

I also love how people get their panties in a bunch when I speak against it. Forgive me, I'll step out now.

But we can't just ban substances on personal preference. I'm sure people with personal experience with mushrooms would want them to remain illegal, I however, find that rather absurd.

^At least mushrooms have scientific studies showing they have beneficial uses and tests have been done to show their toxicity levels. ;]
They've also been used traditionally for a very long time.

You know what, i agree!!

-But let us Plant wise people not be too hasty to judge our lost brothers who haven't realised this notion. There are many reasons why people prefer research chems. Legality is one reason, as is the fact that they like to try the latest "craze" and see what it's about, etc.

-Regarding Switzerland banning 52 substances, including MXE, all i can say is that it must have been the kinda news that street drug dealers could only dream about. Well done Switzerland for driving the scene underground, well done for going backwards!

It's probably good that the JWH's were banned Imo. That stuff MELTS YOUR BRAIN! or at least that's what it feels like. I OD'd on JWH18 and at the same time had food poisoning while in the middle of nowhere so if there was no way anyone could have helped me and my friend who was also ODing at the time so there was no way we could have driven for help. It was probably the worst experience of my entire life. Puking for 4 hours straight while I had pretty much no control over my muscle functions. I just sat in a camp chair around a fire puking and yelling "FUCK RESEARCH CHEMICALS!". I'll never touch the stuff again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

the messed up thing is that the only reason JWH and all of these dangerous research chemicals are being created is because drugs were made illegal.

If weed was legal, nobody would smoke JWH haha

True dat. Its pretty messed up to how hard smoke shops push these virtually unknown RCs. I remember I was trying to get salvia in a smoke shop one time and the mofo behind the counter tried to convince us that the Amphetamine bath salt shit that they sell was Salvia. Obviously me and my friend weren't idiots and told him we knew it wasn't salvia because it said "Bath Salts, not for human consumption" on the package but that didn't stop the guy. He kept on insisting that it was salvia "No, no this is salvia, this IS salvia". Pretty screwed up. I can't imagine how many people have fallen for stuff like that. Turned out they didn't even sell salvia so we had to go to another smoke shop to get it.

that is scary. bath salts are so much more dangerous than salvia. the smoke shop near me stopped selling all the JWH and RC chemicals, including salvia.

They said they stopped selling salvia because it will be made illegal soon :x

Los Angeles. It is not illegal yet but probably will be soon and the shop near me stopped getting involved in the whole mess. they said the rules change so often, its not worth trying to keep up.

some other stores still carry salvia, and some even still carry JWH under the counter even though it is illegal now.

Legalize personal marijuana and ban dangerous and untested substances from the market. While I agree that the RC market has improved our knowledge, allowing these labs to throw who knows what at us scares me the most. I would gladly give up JWH for personal cannabis...

So you are blaming the drug because YOU were irresponsible with the dosage AND food handling ?

I think you all seem to forgot what prohibition did for drug quality. It's way lower, possible tainted with dangerous cuts and moar expensive. I don't see the positive here and like one poster said, bans should be based on science and not fear.

Ummm if you are really defending JWH then be my guest, but It is pretty obvious that that stuff is really terrible for you. In my defense it was the first time doing it and it definitely was my last. My friend convinced me to do it because he told me it was a "hallucinogen" and i thought what was the worst thing that could happen, which is stupid i know and i should have researched it before doing it and it's the last time I take drugs that that friend gives me. And it wasn't the dose that got us, it was my friends "genius" idea to smoalk it in the tent which got hotboxed and that is what caused us to OD because we were inhaling all the exhaled smoke, besides the fact that the LD50 is extremely low for JWH and its really easy to OD on. And just for the record I think it was expired chili that got us and not the cooking method, because we cooked it for a while, but it could have just been the OD that made us throw up for that long, who knows. I'm not saying that all drugs should be banned (obviously), that would be silly. But honestly I say good riddance to JWH, that stuff is no good for anyone, unless you like ODing and brain damage that is. I think there is plenty of scientific reasons why JWH should be banned, it might as well be substance D.

True indeed PrimateSphinx. I've tried JWH two times and I didn't like it AT ALL. I've been an avid cannabis smoker for 14+ years and in my opinion JWH is NOT a substitute. The first time I tried I only got around 5-6 puffs from a joint... I admit the effects were "weed-like" but there was definitely a difference though. I had a slight buzz for 15 minutes then a MASSIVE headache for a couple of hours. I guess I didn't learn my lesson the first time so the second time REALLY did it for me. I had a joint to myself and I smoked it all in one go....by the end of the joint I was feeling very faint, light-headed, pressure was building up in my head, my ear drums popped a few times... etc. I could hear and feel my heart beating and it felt as though it was beating outta my chest. I was sweating profusely, and a few times my vision got blurry... so I'm guessing this stuff affected my blood pressure in an extreme way.... I WILL NEVER TOUCH THIS STUFF AGAIN... aint nothin like the real thing. If someone gave me 20 pounds of it I would flush it down the toilet immediately! :evil:

yeah man a lot of people report getting that pressure in the forehead with JWH, I know I did. I say a drug with that many side-affects isn't worth your time.
