I am here to represent a VERY SMALL group of friends who view the psychedelic experience via psychedelic plants or plant-derived chemicals as one of GREAT religious, philosophical, and introspective implications.
We adore Terence McKenna, Joseph Campbell, and a number of other individuals who have left a legacy of knowledge to those who would seek.
Someone I don't really know.... A friend of one of us...(who will now refer to as "A Friend of a Friend" or FOAF for convenience's sake
)said he was planning to have a wide variety of hallucinogenic plants and chemicals for personal use. I think he said some of it might even be in bulk, for the long-term.
I thought, "What if he got busted?" Sure, he had no intent to distribute the stuff: in fact, it was enriching his life, his own private life, free from harming anyone.
But he could have a lot of stuff, you know? Like mushies, DMT, LSA and stuff. Probably not an INSANE amount of stuff, like pounds or kilos, but more than enough to get taken to jail, I'd think.
I probably need to meet this FOAF and talk to him myself, huh? :lol: :roll:
I mean, it sounds intriguing enough. I could see my friends and even myself considering it, as its pretty easy... And what an experience it would be to grow/extract/make/whatever you're about to DO...ya know? It's like cooking a meal, almost....
Probably more like raising a garden.
Anyways, I'm getting off subject.
The point is, who do I turn to if someone gets busted like that? Are there any legal agencies or non-profits or anything like that out there to protect the Hermit hOrder described above?
