I have been thinking about collecting all the different extraction tek's and compiling them all into one big PDF for people? I haven't started on this project yet but would anyone like to see something like that?

hello i don't know if you saved those 2 from the dmtworld time : elfspice's tek is here : Elfspice's Compleat Acacia Extraction Guide and marsofold's is : How to easily make DMT: ======================= Break 1-Pound of Mimosa Hostilis rootbark into 2" pieces and grind it all up in a glass-topped blender, a little at a time. ------------------------------------ Polar Extraction: Premix in an empty 1-Gallon plastic jug: 1-Pint White Vinegar & 3-1/2 Quarts Water. Put the ground up Mimosa in a 3-Liter crockpot, then fill it with the water-vinegar solution. Stir well and turn it on "high". After 2 hours, remove the crockpot ceramic liner, hold the lid on slightly offset, and pour off most of the liquid into a 1-gallon wide-mouthed glass or stainless container. Add the remaining water-vinegar solution to the crockpot again. Stir well and turn it on "high". After 2 hours, remove the crockpot ceramic liner, hold the lid on slightly offset, and pour off all of the liquid into the same container again. Discard the rootbark fiber and save the two combined extractions in the 1-gallon container. Allow the vegetable particles in the extraction in the 1-gallon container to settle to the bottom overnight. Then pour off the liquid into an empty 1-Gallon GLASS wine jug, being careful not to pour off any of the vegetable sludge at the bottom. Discard the sludge and keep the contents of the wine jug. ------------------------------------ Basification: Premix in advance a solution of: 4 Tablespoons (50grams) of Sodium Hydroxide ("Red Devil" lye) with 1-Pint of HOT Water. Stir well. Slowly add this solution to the wine jug, then cap the jug. Gently tilt the wine jug back and forth for 1 full minute to mix the contents. ------------------------------------ Nonpolar Extraction: Add 300ml of (Ace Hardware)VM&P Naptha to the wine jug, then cap the jug. Gently tilt the wine jug back and forth for 3 full minutes to mix the contents. Allow the jug to sit undisturbed on a table for 3 hours. There should now be two layers visible in the jug, a lower dark one and a smaller clear one on top. Use a glass turkey baster to suck up the top layer into a pint mason jar. Be careful not to suck up any of the lower brown/black layer into the mason jar. ------------------------------------- Freeze-precipitation/wash: place the sealed mason jar in a FREEZER for 3 days to precipitate the crystals. Prepare a filter setup by placing a funnel into a quart mason jar and putting a small coffee filter paper into the funnel. Shake the naptha in the mason jar strongly to stir up all the crystals at the bottom and quickly pour while still very cold into the funnel for filtering. Impure yellow-white DMT crystals will be seen on the coffee filter paper. Allow the crystals to completely dry out on the filter paper in the funnel. Chill a bottle of NON-SOAPY clear Ammonium Hydroxide(Ace Hardware Janitorial Strength Ammonia) in a refrigerator. Slowly pour 35ml of the cold ammonia over the crystals (still in the filter paper) to wash them. Remove the filter paper from the funnel, spread it out flat and allow the crystals to COMPLETELY dry out. You will now have 2-1/2 grams of white crystal DMT. Mix it with some parsley and smoke a little in your favorite pipe! ------UPDATE! Added june 8: Here are some tips for improving the yield: #1 Grind the rootbark up to no more than 1mm particle diameter. Less than this will result in decreased yields. #2 Use three water-vinegar extractions rather than two. Divide up the water-vinegar mix so that you roughly use 50% for the first extraction, 25% for the second, and 25% for the third extraction. After the last extraction press out the fiber to squeeze the last bit of liquid from it. #3 Basify to a ph of 13. If you don't have ph papers, basify till it turns black, then add an additional 25% of whatever amount of basification solution you used. This is to guarantee that you're at a ph of 13. The brown foam you see floating on top of the basified extract after tilting the jug should flatten out to a thickness of no more than 1/2" after 45 minutes or so if you've used enough lye. Add a bit more lye and re-tilt if it's thicker than that. #4 Naptha: the freeze-precipitation technique is a double-edged sword. Very convenient and high quality, but highly dependent upon knowing the approximate amount of DMT expected to be precipitated. If you use too much naptha, then only a little bit precipitates out. If you use too little, then it doesn't extract it all out of solution. It is the simplest case of recrystalization. The best way using it if you aren't very sure of the yield is to use a slight excess to extract, then evaporate it down to 10% of the original volume. THEN freeze it. This will pretty much guarantee excellent results. For example: For a pound of rootbark use 500 milliliters of naptha to extract. Then evaporate it down to 50 milliliters. Then freeze it and filter out the crystals. By the way, you must very quickly filter it within a minute or two after removal from the freezer so it doesn't have any time to warm up. And your freezer can't be marginally cold. If it doesn't freeze ice cream HARD,then it isn't cold enough. -20C is about where it should be. #5 Washing: Be sure that the crystals are absolutely DRY before washing. An alternative to the ammonia-water wash is to use 25 milliliters of ICE COLD distilled water to wash. ------------------------ ======================= i have others on my computer that i can send you, but they're pretty redudant

Here is a Tek swim has.It is from another forum.It was written by Condo Pygmy from DMTworld.Swim has found it to work great.Although swim usually uses the Marsofold tek because he usually does a pound at a time.Swims last extraction was done with this tek.He started with 300 grams MHRB and just tripled everything.Swim was left with 1.6 grams after a recrystalization. <<<<<<<<<<<<"TEK 100">>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Grind 100g of MHRB to fine powder using a glass blender. Mix solution: 1/4 pint of White (5%)Vinegar to 28oz of Distilled Water. Place in a 1.5L glass topped Crockpot &amp; add the solution till MHRB is completly submerged, then turn on crockpot. Use the rest of the solution for your second extraction. 2 extractions / each for 2 hrs. (afterwards clean crockpot for Hot Water Bath). When you strain the second extraction press the plant fiber out into the container. Strain both extractions in to large plastic container &amp; place into the frig for 2 hours. This is called Cold filtering. once both extractions are cold filtered, strain the red fluid into a 750ml bottle. At the bottom of the cold plastic container you'll see gummy brown sediment, throw that away. Now heat up your crockpot for the Hot water bath. Use a small glass bottle &amp; Basify with 1Tbsp Lye to 150ml Warm water. Now add to your 750ml bottle &amp; upend Slowly till it's all BLACK in color. (turn cap to release pressure after each upending) Leave about an inch at the neck of the 750ml bottle for your Naptha. For each extraction place a small bottle filled with approx. 100ml Naptha in Hot water bath, get it good &amp; hot. place the small bottle next to the 750ml bottle in the hot water bath. (leave cap slighty loose to release pressure). Then add &amp; upend 30ml HOT naptha to the 750ml bottle.(release pressure each time) upend the bottle for a few minutes &amp; Place in hot water bath. I've seen it seperate in 10 minutes when good &amp; hot. Do three 30ml hot naptha extractions. Once seperated use a pipette or better yet an eye dropper to extract the naptha containing your spice. Put all naptha extractions in small sealed mason jar, (first use a small glass to catch any black goo that might get in, that way you can remove it before adding to your mason jar). Freeze sealed jar overnite till white crystal flakes have completely fallen out of solvent. Thoroughly dry flakes on coffee filter in funnel in cup. (you can save the solvent for further extractions). Final cold filter wash, chill a nip bottle mixed with 50% Clear ammonia / 50% Distilled water, slowly pour just a little over dry product on filter, then Fully Dry to room temperature. Keep the product in a cool dry place otherwise it may melt in the summer heat. End Results for 100g: "The 750ml bottle should produce 570mg spice"

Here is the recrystalization tek I use.It is also from DMTworld. Heraclitus' Recrystallisation Tek DMT Recrystallization for Beginners: Recrystallization is an art. There are as many ways to recrystallize as to paint a picture. This is an easy way to recrystallize dmt, but it is by no means the best or only way. This procedure uses naptha because it's commonly available to people working with dmt, but solvents like heptane or hexane work even better. 1. Add 20 to 25ml of naptha per gram of dmt to a glass container. A small flask or beaker is ideal. Then add the dmt. 2. Heat the beaker to 40 or 50C. A pot of recently boiled water is plenty hot. (NO FLAMES OR SPARK SOURCES AROUND NAPTHA) 3. After a minute or two of heat, the dmt should melt and mostly dissapear in to solution. Very often a mass of yellow/orange goo will sit on the bottom and refuse to go in to solution. If at this point the naptha goes yellow, let it cool for a little while and the yellowness should fall out leaving the naptha clear. 4. Carefully pour as much clear naptha off the insoluble junk as you can in to another container. This container must be something that you can recover crystals from later. (optional - while transferring from one container to another, pour the solution through a very small filter of some sort. a bit of cotton ball in a funnel for example) 5. Add another 5ml or so of naptha to the original container, and add heat again. Again pour off as much clear naptha as possible in to the other container. 6. Cool the clear naptha as slowly as possible. Let it at room temperature for a few hours. Crystals should begin to precipitate. (optional - you could add a few seed crystals for better crystal formation) Then stick it in the fridge or freezer for at least a few hours. 7. While the beaker is very cold, pour the naptha off the crystals. Freezer temperature naptha holds very little dmt, but feel free to evaporate it to make sure. 8. (optional - Scrape the crystals in to a coffee filter, and pour 10 or 20ml of very cold water over them.) And that's it. Repeat as desired. It's important to remember that not all naptha is created equal, and your naptha may dissolve more or less than 1g per 25ml. If signficant amounts of dmt are left in the original container after you do this process (more than 100mg), use slightly more solvent next time. Reply With Quote

Condos tek always works out perfect for me,though I use 1000mg of Vitamin C(1 tablet crushed)for each qt. of dH2O instead of using white vinegar.It gave me much better results every time!!! Better yield and quality.Nice shards are the standard.....

Sorry if this is a stupid question,not a chemist. But why would that make the crystals a different color?? Is the PH the same as vinegar??? Was it condopygmy that also used this method and said better results?Curious Peace,Kija.

So if it says absorbic acid as the active ingrediant its the one??? Cool,that what swim found. Vitamin c absorbic acid 1000mg tabs. 1 per qt water???ok cool.WooHoo a new science experiment with no vinegar smell.Thanks Peace,Kija

Hey Guys, Just finished the extraction tek part of the site, it was going to be a big pdf but the software wasn't cooperating :roll: so instead I made it all html and I put it up under the links section titled dmt extraction bible :). I'm not sure if these are the best or easiest teks to use, would love to hear feedback from you guys on weather these teks need changing or replacing. :) Blackclo.
