Its a highly efficient gathering DMT benzoate like this, but would be nice if there is an equally easy way to convert it back into freebase. Dissolving it into hot water is easy, and running it through a filter after its been dissolved seems to remove impurities. Basing the solution with NaOH precipitates freebase easily, turns the liquid into milk. From there, a liquid liquid extraction using naphtha works, but its a long process and not 100% efficient. Another approach is just running the milk through a filter. In other situations this works well, you would just wash with cold water afterwards, dry and you end up with clean crystals on the filter paper. But this behaves a bit different, it yields some big crystals that stick to the filter, and some oils and things. It filters really slowly if doing a gravity filtration. Vacuum filtration would probably work really well.

See this post. Supposedly benzoate salt of dmt may be smoothly vaporized. Study this and maybe do some mini experiments. Might be of interest. I'm aware that the acetate salt of dmt is being utilized in this way.

I have tried vaporizing benzoate, it works in principle but there are several complications. On safe temperatures (200-210C) the rate of vaporization is much lower, requiring several tokes, which just don't get you that far. It also recrystallizes very quickly and sticks to the inside of vaporization chamber and blocks the airways. At higher temperatures, the DMT and the benzoate components seem to come apart, producing extremely irritating (and possibly toxic) vapor.

A dry conversion tek could work, mix the benzoate with NaCO3, moisten it, let it react for a while, then extract with naphtha or... If you dry the mixture sufficiently, with acetone or IPA. But personally, I prefer the mini A/B

What makes the liquid-liquid extraction a long process? Gotta be more efficient than running the coagulating particles and oils through a filter.
