hahaha
Sure would love to be able to post this in the music/art/literature section of the Culture/Society subforum, and not have to further clutter up a forum for newbie extraction/first-time questions.... :?:
Anyhooo....I don't know if any of you other Nexians are fans of the Italian electro-noise/dance punk awesomeness that is The Bloody Beetroots (now calling themselves "Bloody Beetroots: Death Crew 77"), but it's not really important if you've heard of them or not....bear with me real quick for some context...
There is an extraction tek posted in the LSD/LSA/LSH sub-forum called "PanoraMix," with which I'm sure at least some, if not many, Nexians are at least familiar with.
I was combing the interwebs looking for sweet music to download, and I came across several singles by the Beetroots, cool for me -- but only important to my story in that I found a track by them, which they only released via blogs, etc (i.e. not on an LP, nor as a single on disc/digi. dwnld.)
The track are great if you're a fan of the music (I dug it quite a bit), but what caught really caught my eye is a track they put out last year called:
"OH Gosh! They've Taken Panoramix!"
Who knows if it is actually a reference to the tek discussed on this site, but I thought it was too pointed a use of the term to just be a coincidence...
Kind regards from the spirit world,
-poorfish
