The *Official* YouTube / DMT Discussion Thread

Migrated topic.

It's just the legal situation of salvia that enables more idiots to post videos of them smoking it.

That's why it has been illegal in germany for almost 4 years now

As I mentioned earlier in this thread I don't see DMT being illegal as a bad thing anymore...

this is a great thread. have flagged about 5 videos now.

what reason are you using to flag these videos?

i used 'drug abuse', hope thats cool.

peace

I agree that videos showing actual DMT usage or the extraction of it should definitely be flagged.

However some of the videos posted on this thread are just experience reports. How is this any different than posting a typed experience report on a web forum?
I think its wrong to flag videos merely for talking about their experiences. Whether or not they're being immature and/or disrespectful isn't for you to judge. They still have every right to say whatever they want about it.

Maybe by flagging this videos constantly there is more harm done than good.

Youtube is for sure monitoring (and some how filtering data) what is being flagged as inapropriate uploaded material, and when they see so many raised flags on this matter it would be reasonable to report further to some higher authorities or governments.
I mean its maybe better to take some time and get in contact with the uploader and try to reason with him directly.Or even let this videos pass. They are not even nearly popular as the videos about stimulant drugs. Many of the videos we flag here pass only seen by few people before they get deleted by youtube.Anyway its only my opinion which is maybe incomplete...fell free to disagree.

I totally agree and tend to only post and flag the ones of people smoking it in front of camera. I have however posted videos of kids who look about 12 talking about their experiences with DMT only to show the community how there are really young people getting involved with DMT (who probably live with their parents). That can't be good in a certain sense, even if they can handle it.

Earlier in this thread i would post videos of anything that had to do with DMT, not so they could get flagged, but because i thought this was the thread to do so.

I agree, if the uploader is reasonable person he'll put it down.

Not a video to flag, buit perhaps someone would like to engage him in a discussion:

"Psychedelics lead to the devil. DMT leads to the devil"

He also claims to have emailed strassman a recommendation of some orthodox christian book and he replied that this book had all the answers he was seeking.

Must be a banned nexus-member. I´ve heard that delusional shit too many times before.

It has come to my attention that society views DMT = Meth. I have seen several people referring to DMT being no different than smoking meth. I am a MMJ patient and even people in that community thinks that way.

It is sad that DMT is getting a bad reputation by people who are supposed to be open minded.

Maybe the DMT-Nexus needs to put out an informational video on youtube educating the masses on the truth?

Who wants to start working on this? I know nothing about making videos unfortunately.

You could focus on the fact it is an endogenous tryptamine possible neurotransmitter, and also various positive effects it has on the user, without bathing it in an overly mystical light.

I thought i´d seen a documenary about psychedelic´s on national geographic..i haven´t seen it completely so i don´t know if DMT was mentioned in it as well. But it was very scientific rather than paranoid, what i expected. Maybe finding something like that..unsuspicious source like national geographic...copy paste it and posting it on youtube would be enough, maybe.
