Ok, the video has been updated with a new link so it should work now.
The High Life,
Anything is possible. Look at how far we've come in such a short period of time. Once we can get control of our government so that the power is restored to the people, I absolutely believe that space travel will be next on the agenda.
The more we mix science with spirituality the more we will know as a collective whole. If the DMT experience gives us anything, it's a deep rooted feeling that there IS more. What that more is exactly is up to debate but it's definitely something. When we blend that ancient knowledge with our current and future knowledge, a whole new world of possibility will unfold.
These are exciting times we're in because this is the beginning of the beginning in a lot of ways. Once we can get everyone on the same page, anything is possible.
Yeah dude I totally agree with most of that, but let's really think here: We gain control over our government and power is restored to the people. Free energy is likely discovered/revealed/etc. Heaven is made on Earth. Our home becomes a paradise. That all makes sense to me.. But do I think that all of that is gonna allow us to travel LIGHT YEARS through space to reach another planet? HELL NO! There's no way a living being could really survive that long of a trip, and why would they really want to? That doesn't sound enjoyable, and last time I checked that is the true purpose of life, enjoyment, not some evolutionary and technological rat race across the universe. I also find it just as hard to believe that we could actually cut a whole in the fabric of space and time, and then find it even harder to believe that we could somehow control where we end up when we go through that whole. I mean psychedelics have taught me a LOT, and yes there is a general theme that comes along with them, the notion that there IS more, but to me it never meant that there is more
out there; it meant that there is more
within, that there is an unseen but equally vibrant, if not more so, inner world from which this outer world springs forth, that we are not a mistake, life is not an accident, and that there is "life" after death. And while that revelation has made my mind feel liberated in the most exquisite ways, I still don't think any human being will be hurtling through a worm-whole anytime soon, especially not in some controlled manner where they survive fully intact upon arriving at some alien planet a couple hundred thousand light-years, if not more, away. Psychs have without a doubt helped me become a more open-minded, intelligent, accepting, cofindent, loving, wise, and
whole person, etc, more quickly than I would have without them, and in ways I could have never imagined or truly appreciated without them, but they have not made me naive. I mean I'm not totally denying it. I'll believe it when I see it, but until then I'm not that worried about it because I think it's largely irrelevant. I just find it all highly unlikely given the circumstances of the universe, and despite the universe's infinite-ness.
Also, what would be the point of space travel really being on our agenda? The only thing I can think of are alternative resources and by the time we figure out how to get to those resources we won't need them because I'm sure that will be enough energy that we won't need to go looking for alternatives in space. There is also NO NEED to colonize out there. I think it's really obvious when you think about it that there is no reason that we need to leave Earth, as long as we take care of it, which is what would happen if the power was restored to the people. I mean this is clearly our home. We are made for it. It's made for us. It may seem small compared to the vastness of the universe, but the potential for creative expression within our little blue ball is more than enough to satisfy the yearning in your soul for a lifetime. It chooses its life, its time, its place for a reason, to experience, and I just really don't think it chooses somewhere just to go somewhere else and make it really difficult to enjoy life.
That brings me to my next point. I think the purpose of life is to enjoy it, plain and simple, and while I know that there are some suckers out there who might think that flying through space and trying to cut a whole in the fabric of it and time and then trying to go through that whole, land somewhere alien, deal with the culture shock of greeting aliens who may or may not be hostile, sounds fun, I think that a sane individual would stray away from dreaming about such fantastical ideas as space travel for their idea of enjoyment. But hey if someone wants to go ahead and try, be my guest.. I'm just saying, I think if someone wasn't raised on television, and video games, etc, that it wouldn't be there "dream" to be an astronaut. That's all cultural conditioning. Monkey see monkey do. A real individual who isn't shackled by the mental restraints that the average person is imprisoned with would simply enjoy their life, smoke weed, listen to music, go into nature, trip out, do an extreme sport, travel, meet people, eat good food, have good timezzz, etc, etc, and learn how to live in harmony with the world around them.
Oh and as I've hinted before, I think the only way we will ever receive contact from alien life, if there is any out there (because at the moment I think it's just as possible that aliens don't exist at all), is from within.
Thoughts?
