Using jim jam

Iv got some jim jam iv exracted using xylene and am a bit confused about how to smoke it! Can I simply get some herbs and use them to mop the jim jam up then use acetone and evap? Would this work.. Would this work in a straight pipe or would it have to be vaporised! Also would this work in a spliff!
