Vape Juice not fully clearing

I use a small cup, place the vial in it, then add boiling water up to the neck and let settle and stir occasionally with a metal rod.

I use regular food grade citric acid as far as I know.

I read in another post you can dissolve quite a lot of citric acid in this way supposedly, I think up to 250mg in 2mL or in that range.

Good to know (y)
I was using regular food grade Citric acid too, it looked exactly the same as the old Homebrewer's Citric Acid i used before totally fine.
The Anhydrous Citric Acid did dissolve better, even without powdering it with a pestle & mortar.

can you guys tell me why citric acid is being used?? to my knowledge its generally used a preservative but im wondering if thats the case here or is there some other purpose??
gracias amigos

i am new at dmt things but not new on chemistry, citric acid anhydrous is what you need
maybe you used citric acid monohydrate and that makes your vape unclear
you have to use citric acid for convert dmt to dmt citrate (salt form), lovering ph to 7 makes it is easy to vape, dmt salt is more soluble

It's added because pure dmt juice is quite alkaloid and harsh, and can be a bit 'unhealthy ' vaping pure.

If you add citric acid it negates the alkalinity and the taste is better.
