Ventilation tips?

So SWIM is considering doing another extraction soon and the current place he lives doesn't have good ventilation. Was wondering if anyone has had luck with a HEPA grade air purifier for getting rid of naphtha/solvent fumes or any easy setups that you know of. If anyone has any experience with this or any tips for ventilation in a not well ventilated house please enlighten me!

Much love ❤️

HEPA won't filter naphtha fumes, it's intended for particulates only. You'd need an active carbon filter, as used for cannabis grows. Otherwise, some kind of extractor fan - brushless, antistatic - could be fitted somehow. How exactly depends upon your windows.

Basically, you may as well look into how you'd build a fumehood. It could double up as a laminar flow cabinet if you incorporate the HEPA filter - very handy for mushroom cultivation.

Would the Hatha space HSP002 air purifier work? SWIM already has one for smoking ganja inside his apartment and it works wonders. It says the filters are activated charcoal filters.
If you're in an apartment block there's something of an onus not to expose one's neighbours to the small but significant risk of a solvent fire. I don't know whether your filter device would be compatible with flammable solvents, so it would be safer to assume that it isn't.
