If I am to be hypercritical though, the haloing around the letters (particularly the smaller letters) is a TAD too strong, and the symbols to the left could be less "cutout" looking and more "mysterious" - whatever that means... hard to put into words... the rest of it looks so strange but carefully put together, but the beaker etc kind of looks tacked on and too cartoony (or not cartoony enough? vague, I know, that's why I am neither a graphic designer nor a critic!!)
I meant to ask, what IS the bottom symbol? The one to its left? Salvia leaves?

Hey thanks I really appreciate the help! I was actually just gonna create a more polished and sparkly looking version of it, so I'll definitely add your suggestions to it now (first I have to figure out what they mean lol).
The bottom symbol is a mayan symbol, but I realized it wasn't that well known so I already decided to change it, maybe into a yin-yang? Something that could represent the root chakra. Also I made a few other changes.
And the leaves are psychotria viridis.
Why not mimosa leaves? they are more distinctive...

If you're looking for inspiration, perhaps you could use me. I normally charge about £500 an hour on modeling asingments, but would be happy to waive that fee for the DMT Nexus.
Wow! I apologize. I wasn't trying to rip his artwork off I was using tiny samples and using them for the color effects and what not . I think using tiny samples of an artwork would be legal using it on a website banner.
I apologize again I didn't think it was that big a deal. I shot Android an email as asked him about it. If it is that big a deal then by all means remove them.

some of them do contain small samples blended with other images. I thought that if you alter them enough and blend them in enough that it would be what they call "acceptable use" for a web banner but I guess I was wrong about that. please by all means remove them...
