what dosage do i need in a vapourizer?

Hi there, new to dmt but more than ready for a breakthru, so tomorow im going camping on a beach and i will be borrowing my friends electric vapourizer, as im told that is the best way to do it. i was told that for a good hit i need to put 0.12 in a pipe but im guessing for a vapourizer i wont need so much, so does anyone know how much?

I don’t know if electric vapes are the best way to work with spice (I haven’t used one personally), however it should work though as long as the temperature is right. Beware that unless your vape is fully cleanable it may smell of spice forever!

Working from what I can see around the forum (I also created a poll: GVG/VG Dosage Size) that properly vaped spice can be effective anywhere between 10–35mg freebase. Before I used the VaporGenie I used around 50mg, having changed devices I now get good results from 25–30mg.
 
50mg was my dose before I got a more efficient method of vaping, before I would use a pipe or bong and hover the flame just above the material. A lot probably gets combusted in the process, hence it is not as efficient as a good vaporiser. 50mg in the VaporGenie would probably make quite a mess of me if I was to vape it all successfully to be honest. I would start lower if you are going to use a vape personally.

The VaporGenie is absurdly efficient so you need a lot less to get to the same place. It is different to other vapes as it uses a convection heat source (the hot air flowing through the material) rather than the direct heat method of conduction that most vapes do.

If you have a search about some people seem to like a cheap homemade device called The Key as a budget alternative to the VG/GVG, may be worth having a look into (the VG/GVG are quite expensive). I have yet to try it though, so I can’t comment too much on it.
