What was your personal favorite psychedelic experience you have had?

It's hard to pinpoint my "favorite" as doing so depends entirely on what would classify an experience as a standout for me. Many of my experiences have had amazing moments, so it's a difficult pick. I guess in terms of the experience that affected me positively to the highest degree, it would be my first ever psychedelic experience, during which I took about 100 mics of LSD alone in a beautiful forest on a wonderful summer morning.

The proceeding 10 hours pulled me out from a bottomless pit of despair and allowed me to forgive someone that hurt me emotionally very badly. It also sparked the curiosity for this new state of being to a degree that made me dedicate my life to these experiences and the shadow work that comes with them.

The second experience that affected me positively the most was about 5 years ago when I was in a severely depressed state after coming back from Peru, feeling completely lost back in "civilization", and feeling the uncertainty and fear that came with the pandemic. At one point I was in suicidal ideation territory and I realized I need to go through a major career shift to crawl out of the pit, so I took about 70 mics of LSD, cried for about 1 hour in the forest, and took the decision to completely leave my current field of work and switch to software development. Turned out to be the best decision I've ever made in terms of career, and it improved my life to an incalculable degree.

If craziness should be considered, nothing ever came close to my 1200 microgram LSD experience, which I've reported on here. To this day I still cannot process a lot that happened during that journey, and I want to repeat it at some point with an equally high dose, but try and extract some info this time around. The time will come when I'm ready.

Lots more to experience in this wonderful life. <3

Did you experience the severe vasoconstriction I did during my journey? If yes, how did you counteract it? The sensation was really unpleasant for me and I wish I had had the foresight to counteract it in some way and spend more time in this amazing state without the sensation that I'm going to black out constantly. Keep in mind I have no idea what kind of LSD I took, or if it was all LSD or that mixed in with some AL-LAD or something of the sort. I just know there were no NBOMEs present among these tabs, and that they were all indoles, but my testing was far from sufficient to determine what it was exactly that I took. I know, rookie mistake that I won't commit again.

i experienced the increased bodily energy, but not too much vascular constriction as long as i kept myself stretched and loose, i usually accomplished this by taking a nice long warm shower about half an hour after taking it. If i had no shower around a nice hammock is nice too lol.

I used to abuse Nbomes, specifically 25-I and 25-C, and they really cause horrible constricion. really not meant to be taken at all, as evident by it being labled and smuggled as "plant food" unfortunatley i was the plant! so lsd did not cause bad constriction for me when i compared it to that poison.

i HIGHLY suggest taking showers for the comeup to make it as smooth as possible. i learned it from the nbomes, and it works well for most psychedelics, but i really only use the shower if im taking something speedier like lsd. ide probably take a few during a mescaline trip too lol.

I still think about this one very frequently: blig-blug's Ayahuasca experience log: X

I'm still not sure what made it that intense (the dose wasn't particularly high), and where all that came from. Particularly all the dualistic "spirits waiting to enter into fetuses" part, as that's not a worldview that had any appeal to me, or that I had been too exposed to.

If I could repeat only part of it, I would repeat the expansive ending where I and the whole world were just one single awareness. The message while that was ending was "remember", but I haven't done too good of a job at remembering that feeling...

Favorite? That's a toughie… I've so many fond memories of being utterly wracked with laughter for hours on end. (Many of my friends are very funny, and psychedelics just compound that.) When it comes to laughing so much that it hurt for a whole day afterwards, taking LSD at Avebury one midsummer and watching my friends druid-baiting was hard to beat.

On a different corner of the spectrum, blubbing my eyes out on libs one summer's afternoon under a lilac tree, and then emerging with literal superpowers (spider-like climbing ability and bioelectric sensing) was pretty next-level as well.

Nice question, it's great to think this over now and then.

It would be my very first LSD experience. Low dose, probably just 50 mcg, had more intense experiences later, but it changed my view and life permanently. It was a huge change in my thinking, feeling and perceiving, definitely main milestone of my life.
I also met my wife that night for the first time.

It was a day when Timothy Leary died (but I learned that only later) so 30th anniversary is coming close.
