Synchronicities and co-incidences only happen when you look for them. Our brains love patterns and love latching on to them. No surprise then when our brains occasionally (or often if we dispose ourselves) lay patterns over otherwise disparate events.
One of my co-workers got a call the other day. When he hung up, he expressed his wonder and bafflement - it was his girlfriend and he had JUST been thinking of her. They were in synchronicity!
Being the rationalist killjoy that I am:lol: , I asked him how many times a day he thinks of her; he said many, perhaps 30 or 40; that being at least twice per waking hour (not excluding the time he is actually with her), she could have called almost anytime and he would have had the same reaction of bewilderment!
I sure know how to ruin someone'say, huh?
Seek and ye shall synchronize! Just my canadian 2 cents worth.
