Where can I find information about DMT?

Hello, I'm new to the nexus and wondering where I can find the most up-to-date information on how to obtain and consume DMT.

I get the impression that most of the resources on the DMT nexus are over 13 years old; I imagine practices have evolved since then? I'm a bit lost.

I've already searched and I'm wondering if the information from 2013 is still relevant or if there are more recent threads that are better now.

The old info is invaluable read the wiki extraction teks. The Phalaris Breeding Programme & HIELO tek are the newest events I can think of. You can purchase seeds from neurobloom or Grasshoppers both can help you in that department & they have options for both 5-meo-dmt & dmt

I'll look into the different plants you mentioned and this HIELO tek. Until now, I'd only heard of extraction from Mimosa hostilis and the use of dangerous solvents worried me a bit.

I'll take some time to find out more, and if you don't mind, I'll get back to you if I have any further questions.

As long as you spot test your solvent by evaporating in a dish (Make sure theres no smudge from hands or ditergents like soap - just wipe with the solvent using a clean paper towel before spot test) and as long as you review the safety and wear PPE like goggles respirator ventilate the room etc you should be safe

Feel free to check out dry teks for DMT like HIELO, q21q21 or amor fatis tek. Nomans tek is likely to give better results but there are loads of options to choose from. HIELO will produce a dmt salt DMT citrate which is used in sub ohm vaping - its not freebase and q21q21 will give ypu acetate which is unsafe to smoke (Though I have smoked it, its probably fine in moderation) and its good for oral pharmahuasca experiences

q21q21 is full spectrum it pulls everything in the bark like with MHRB it pulls yuramine for example. Its gooey not a crystal but it works fine

Which tek do you recommend for a complete beginner who has never done anything similar except for chemistry classes in high school?

What is the healthiest way to consume it? Should I dissolve the solution in e-liquid and vape it in an e-cigarette? Or is a glass pipe preferable?

It seems to me that it's easier to be precise with the dosage when you have freebase than when you have a DMT salt or something else, right?

free base and salt are diffrent there is one form.... free base ...then another form HCL/Salt .
so you must . list ether or in questions .

for a complete beginner for extraction TRY To use a simple STB tek this stands for .....Straight To Base . like Normans tek ...

follow this To A "T" NO Inspector gadget extra steps ....... added no no

smaller extractions starting with 50 to 100 grams of bark this is easayer , safer and more efficient .
don't throw any thing away in case theres a problem .. it probably can still be recoverd ,

for dosing have an acurate miligram scale , start low , like 10mg and work up 5 miligram at a time . NEVER BURN IT

I live in France. Is it recommended to grow my own plant or to order root bark online? 25 grams of bark cost US$15 on the websites where I found it.
