Where to get the right filter

Hi folks,

i just did my first acid cook with mhrb and tried to filter the blackish purple liquid through 2 coffee filters to get rid off the mhrb but the water got stuck and only some drops of some white colored liquid came out. good looking but i want all the water to go through the filter, I'm assuming my coffee filters are too narrow
so i tried a tea strainer... but i got my mhrb powdered and the powder just keeps falling through the tea strainer...

in the great handbook there's muslin mentioned and screen printing cloth...
i tried to get muslin but it's very expensive since i only found shops with large minimum quantities. since I'm not native English speaker I'm not sure if i got "screen printing cloth" right , is it just a t-shirt with a screen print on it? can someone post a picture?
any other ideas?

Leave it in a tall container overnight and decant the liquid in the morning.

I agree with this. Simply leave the jar containing the solution for a couple hours and a layer should form on top of the purple root bark solution. Either syphon the liquid off of the top using a turkey baster or you can decant, if you have the hands for it. good luck!

What tek told you to dump mhrb through a filter?
