will this bottle work for making a machine?

Hey I have surprisingly managed to get 250mg of dmt and I wanna make sure I vaporize it most effectively and figured I'd make The Machine. And right now I got a glass coke bottle just like this

its about 6 or 7 inches tall and I think it will work pretty good but its not like I have any experience in using the machine. So let me know what you guys think. if this doesnt look good I'll go out to the grocery store and pick up some other glass bottles that might be better. (and i'm not 21 yet so i cant get a liquor bottle)

And what kind of steel wool do you guys reccomend? should i just get some that looks like the right texture and then torch it to get the chemicals off? and last, what do i need to even do to torch off the chemicals? i dont have any torch things, i heard you can use a candle flame but I dont know.

Yes. Although, it seems to me like the glass would be a little thicker than on mini-booze bottles. The steel "wool" will be sold as a scrubbing pad and won't have any detergent on it. You will need to burn off the shiny coating. It looks like mini coiled steel ribbons more than the classic steel wool that looks like grey cotton.
 
If you do not want to waste spice do not do it. a small pipe with copper or steel wool would be much better. It is way to big you need a small opening a coke bottle is to big. You are in Minn go to the head shop and buy a glass pipe or do you have to be 21 for that to? I assume you are over 18. I was born in Duluth so I am helping you out:lol: I got quite a few acres of land there maybe some day I will build a cabin, to cold for me to live there I need the tropics but I would love to have the best of both worlds. I just wish I had land in the Tropics I would be typing this from my Hammock swinging between two palm trees.

just a suggestion SWIM had an issue with steel wool melting and there was wasted spice made SWIM sad but a steel mesh is what seems to work best for SWIM
 
alright i'll try to find a bottle closer to the hennessey one tomorrow when i get the scrubbing pad. and my plan on charging the machine was to heat up the steal wool, then drop the dmt through the mouth hole onto the plug while its still hot and will melt into it on its own. I read that over on hipforums i think and a couple other people said it works, anyone else do it that way?

oh and i only have a bic lighter, am i likely to not break through with that?
 
The bic lighter should work just fine. DMT vaporizes at relatively low temperatures and it doesn't take much to heat up the steel wool. In fact, the flame should never have to touch the metal at all.
 
I also found a hot sauce bottle in this same shape

and it is about 7 inches tall but the hole for the neck is only 3/8th of an inch in diameter. the coke bottle is 7 inches long too and the hole is 3/4th inches in diameter. and i also got lightbulbs. now out of those three choices, what do you guys reccomend? and if all three will just suck and waste the spice let me know.

and i also got these copper scourer things. let me know if these will work too

The bottles all look a little too big. The sauce bottle seems to contain 177ml, whereas a typical miniature booze bottle used for The Machine holds 50ml. I've heard of people who'd had success with those 2oz tabasco sauce containers (that I'm sure you can get at any grocery store). Besides, don't you know anyone over 21 who can go into a liquor store and buy a single-serving hennessy bottle or something?

Lightbulbs... I started out using one and they were pretty damn dreadful. Although they seem to work for some people, most appear to prefer the machine.

The copper should work, as long as you clean it thoroughly of any coating it may have by soaking it in IPA / heating it with a flame until it starts smoking.
