It has been many years since I posted here in the Nexus, though I have periodically come back to have a look around and see what is happening here.
I am writing today though (thank you Traveller for helping revive this old account!) as I feel drawn in ways that I don't fully understand to connect more deeply with Syrian Rue. It's clear from reading through the threads here that other folk are, or have been, working with this medicine in a deep way. I would love to connect with others walking this path.
While on a trip riding a camel through the Moroccan Sahara a couple of years ago, I had a strange feeling that I had somehow experienced this before in a previous life and that something of this region runs in my bloodline. I have also worked with an intuitive MDMA guide who has told me after the ceremonies that she felt I had a strong connection to this part of the world. Needless to say, I have wondered whether this might explain why I feel drawn to connect this medicine.
I am open to any suggestions or guidance as how I might connect myself to this medicine. I have taken about a gram of seeds ground up and put into a capsule twice a day this past weekend, and will continue to do so in the coming days. I felt some faint change from baseline: a bit of a heaviness in my system and an old feeling of deep sadness/fatigue has stirred itself. The quality of the experience has felt different from a microdose of mushrooms.
I welcome any thoughts!
