Hey everyone was just wondering if anybody who does kratom has ever tried these? They sell them at my local smoke shop and they work amazing for pain!
7-Hydroxymitragynine is a terpenoid indole alkaloid from the plant Mitragyna speciosa, commonly known as kratom. It is a human metabolite metabolized from mitragynine present in the Mitragyna speciosa (Kratom).
7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH) binds to opioid receptors like mitragynine, but research suggests that 7-OH binds with greater efficacy.
I am an opiate addict in recovery (going on 3 years now) and I try not to take kratom too often unless I'm really hurting physically and lately I've been dealing with costochondritis due to a slipped rib so my pain is pretty bad some days and I just reinjured myself a couple days ago.
Usually just kratom powder isn't enough (unless I take a ridiculous dosage) to really do the trick for any sort of psychoactive feeling or pain relieving effects for me but I stumbled on these a couple weeks ago and they really do the job! However please keep in mind they do feel unsettlingly close to an actual opiate and could definitely be WAY more addictive than just kratom itself.
The first time I tried these I got a box of 5 15mg tablets and spaced my doses out over 4 days, the 5th day was a living hell and it felt like I was going through morphine withdrawal again but it was over after a day and immediately decided I shouldn't get any more for the time being so you definitely gotta watch out and not dose to often with these.
I've been getting through this healing process with nothing but Cats Claw, Capsaicin topicals, and a ton of CBD (topical and edible) and cannabis and felt it was improving until a few days ago, I'm pretty sure I reinjured myself somehow. I try my best to not take any other pain killers or dull the sensation of pain I'm feeling because I feel it's good to listen to what my body is going through and not just ignore it but today I had a chiropractic adjustment to pop my rib back in place and I was really hurting afterwards. Due to how sore I was I decided to pick up a 2 pack of these and I gotta say they work great and I'm feeling pain free and very good right now. Probably not getting anymore after these are gone because I know myself and definitely shouldn't pick up a new habit nor do I want too.
For anybody on the Nexus who takes kratom I highly recommend these if you can find them! So much more effective but definitely more addictive so keep that in mind! Also the withdrawals are nasty and can come on within a couple of doses so if you decide to try this please use with caution!
