I've been having tough time breaking through in the last few months and like any bad dancer - fell into the tendency of blaming the equipment. As such - and based on some feedback found here - I've ordered myself a nice and shiny Arizer XQ2 desktop rig.

Fast forward about a few months worth of butchered sessions - I'm throwing the towel. Tried every single bit if wisdom I've managed to extract from the "search" - along with some elbow grease:
- tried going straight through the wand
- tried bagging
- tried different temperatures
- tried different layering techniques
- tried a concentrate pad instead of layering

The damn thing is basically isn't doing anything for me. Yes - there were definitely some results, but nothing that would be comparable to the sloppiest sessions I had with my portable setup (will create a separate topic to review).

Your millage may vary, but I would stay away from these.

Hope - this would be of help to other souls looking for light...

I know this is kinda late but man I just gotta coment on this post cause I swear I was reading something that I had written myself!! I dont know if you have had any luck with ur XQ2 yet but all I can say is I went from feeling like i lost out on like 250$ with accessories and the dang thing just sat there for MoNtHs!! Lol So I try to just sell the whole unit to a buddy of mine for like half price just to get off the extra glassware that's of no use without the unit, he slid over the crib to grab it but hadn't paid me yet so I offered up a nug for him to fire up the Arizer and he hands me one of the cupped screens packed tightly as to not fall out until the blower turns to low... then the BaG... I believe its pretty much all about the bag, Set no low blower setting yet , but the oven cranked to 430 for like 10 min. Then I hit 440, attach bag piece and hit the blower on the lowest setting.... I became a believer, and my buddy could already tell by the look in my eyes he done cut his own feet out from underneath himself... but yeah, I connect to a small water bubbler with whip attached to the mouthpiece and away I go, and it's super smooth and ACTUALLY WORKS... pack the elbow man, I got 3 bags out of it no burnt taste... totally smoked... give it a try just like that and see what's up my friend...

Feedback taken. But as far as I'm concerned - I'll be sticking with my portable setup - it works well enough for my purposes and where I am on my DMT journey.

Portability is a big factor as it turns out. The whole desktop thing is quite cumbersome vs just filling one or two portable vaporizers.

What is your frequency of sessions? Maybe you're just doing too much. Or maybe you're on a medication that's blunting the effects.
That vaporizer should do the job well.

I'm down to once every 3-4 weeks and will probably be extending it even further. Mostly because - I don't quite feel the need anymore.
