Migrated topic.

Hi there! Yesterday I finally recieved the package (50gm B.Caapi, 25gr Mimosa Hostilis). So, i've been talking with some experienced people and they said that is quiet weak amount of ingridients. Can I use additional MAO inhibitors like antidepessants to bust the experience? Can I reach a breakthrough from that amount of aya? (50g caapi + 25g mimosa + 1-2 pills of pirlindole before the main brew)?

These experienced people you are talking to know nothing!!

25gr mimosa is wayyyyy too much dude, 2gr mimosa is a good starting point. 50gr caapi is enough.

Please dont go drinking 25gr mimosa. Im not sure what the pills are that you talk about, but dont be mixing antideprasants with caapi, bad news there.

Do more research.

Most pharmaceutical MAOI antidepressants are irreversible inhibitors. You should NEVER attempt to use such substances in combination with, well, anything. The harmala-alkaloids from B. caapi and P. harmala are reversible, which is what you want. That they are reversible means that they let go of the MAO enzymes after a few hours, while irreversible inhibitors never let go, and therefore have action until new MAO enzymes are produced. This takes something like one or two weeks.

Yeah, I see that 25g of mimosa it's big dose, but I'm not sure about the quality of Caapi and Mimosa.

If you are not sure about the potency of your herbals, that is yet another reason to start low. Always start low and build up slowly, or you may get your ass seriously kicked and perhaps even raped. Sorry, but that's the truth...

No. It seems that this is reverible pharma Pirlindole - Wikipedia. Also there was few reports about successful experiences with it. Also, I'm still confused about dosage of mimosa.

No, one can easily breakthrough on aya/pharma/smoked.

No offence here bro, but you should really be doing alot more reading on these subjects.

Are you asking what the term breakthrough means?

Thx man! And what about breakthrough? I guess thi is the term for smoking or what?
I'm not sure what you're asking here, but a breakthrough can happen on mimosahuasca, ayahuasca, and pharmahuasca. A breakthrough is an experience where you subjectively leave this plane of reality (or whatever you want to term this existing world we normally operate in) and interact with a completely other realm/level of consciousness (again, terms are rough attempts to convey these concepts). A breakthrough is the kind of thing you don't have to question, you'll know if it happens. That being said, you can still have incredibly awe-inspiring experiences without breaking through.

I have to second gammagore's opinion, you really sound like you haven't spent much time researching this stuff. You may want to better inform yourself before diving in haphazardly.

Yes. I guess the breakthrough is more deep psychedelic experience than usual psychedelic trips like on acid. I guess is something close to salvia trip right?
