Cheap herb vaporizer for DMT crystals

Hey,
I am on a very low budget (20-30 usd), trying to find a way to consume DMT crystals.

I am currently using a cheap oil burner. But my wife thinks I am a crack head when using it.

I tried e-liquid, but it's a big hassle and I lose a lot of product in the process.

Anyone tried using a cheap herb vaporizer?
I saw they go really cheap (20 usd), with temp control.
Can i just buy one and place the crystals on a drip pad or something?
Am I missing something? Why is it not more common?

you can try a Yocan Orbit. My buddy loves it for Budder, and deems. Sometimes he adds deems to his budder! He calls it spicy budder and he loves it. Don't use the marbles that come with it though. Not for Deemzy. You can even add a teenie drop of PG to the bowl to help it vaporize nice, but it's not necessary. Or just drop your spice in the quartz bowl and pulse it till it fills with vapour. I still prefer a cart anyday.. Much more discreet and the dosing is easier to control, and there is little or no technique to master. Your wife may see it as less crackheady as well. SO that's a bonus. Portable cart rigs are the way, at least for me.
One of the reasons herb or budder/shatter/dab rigs may not be so common is that it is easy to screw up on technique and just waste the spice, or to over do it, and get waaaay more than you bargained for. Also, you need to load and reaload. Not as practical when trying to add altitude to your trip as a vape is. A cart is just: Insert tip into your deemz hole and puff away. With these herb burners, you also end up with a hot object in yourt hand that you need to put down somwhere, just as your soul is shooting through fractal themeparks. Not so bad with a buddy, but alone...maybe sketchy For me the 2 big reasons are dose control and reload times. After all these years with deemzy, the 510 cart has really been the game changer for me. It makes demmzy something that is right there and ready in your pocket forwhen you feel the teacher calling. You can answer right away!

Just wanted to say that I got the Orbit device and damn.
This thing is amazing!!
So easy to operate, works like a charm!
Zero product goes to waste, great and safe experience.

With 15mg I am able to fly away.

It costed me less than 30$ and its worth every penny of it.

With your Orbit do you notice any harsh or burnt taste that makes you caugh?
Have you tried vaporizing above 15mg?
Do you use it with the glass balls? How do the process looks like?

The Orbit is amazing! I highly recommend it. No harsh smoke, and it doesn't make me caugh.
I went as high as 25mg, and it's all good.
I am using the glass balls. I don't know if they help, but it's nice to watch them spinning around.
This device should be the go-to for beginners. I struggled a lot before finding it.

Thank you for the advice about the Orbit. I have tried it a few times. I have it set at between 15 - 20W on an iStick. I also made my own "battery" with old 18650 laptop cells, some 18AWG wires, alligator clips, bullet connectors, etc.

can you please explain what the "cart" is?.
i keep reading about them but am clueless.
sounds like something i might like as the whole weighing (x3) and loading process likely makes me use it less than id like

"cart" is short for cartridge and refers to the slim ( 10-15mm dia) business end of many vapes where approx 1 to 2 ml of vape juice is stored. It also contains a wick and heating element and is possibly refillable, but the wick and element are not replaceable. They look like old fashioned cigarette holders with a glass window. They are often obtained pre filled with juice of various sorts, THC carts were very popular at one time. Carts tend to deliver smaller amounts of vapour and so the juice used in them is often very concentrated. Typically with DMT it would be at least 1 to 2g per ml of juice or more and they are often so concentrated that crystals will form if the juice gets too cold.

The alternative vaporised juice delivery system is the "tank" which is bigger, has replaceable parts, and delivers more vapour, so the juice can be made less concentrated for the same effect per drag. Say around 750mg per ml.

Both tanks and carts are a subset of "atomisers" which is the generic term for the business end of any vape.

The bit that provides power to the atomiser is known as the battery, or "mod box" or "mod", they come in various levels of sophistication in the way in which they control power delivery and maximum power outputs.
