Coleus blumei?

I still say you want to try something that looks more like this:
To be honest, we should be using something that looks more like this.

Anyone know botanists in Puerto Rico? Would love to cultivate some wild Coleus scutellarioides. I think every cultivar will produce varying results.

Took 2g dried coleus powder utilizing my latest methods from Salvine Tek. The most noticeable effect was intense stomach cramping for ~2 hours.

There may have been 15-30 minutes where I felt a little stoned—as if giving half my attention to two things simultaneously became more difficult—but it was not as noticeable or euphoric as smoking. Distraction may have been related to the stomach discomfort. Zero notable negative effects after cramping had stopped (evacuation next day was also normal). Meditation had not been significantly altered.

I have no idea if my sudden onset of cramping was related or just bad timing, so a 4g test will happen in the near future. The obvious suspicion is that extract may be more fruitful—that will have to wait until after I get extracts working with Salvine Tek.

Sublingual would also be worth testing, though I don’t expect to have the required quantity of leaves anytime soon.

Oh, and taste was definitely more manageable than salvia powder; I find that anything with anthocyanins has a refreshing taste.

Interesting and potentially valuable development:

Last night I washed and chewed two rounds of ~4 coleus leaves while drawing (8 total with stems intact)—kept bouncing back and forth between thinking there was an effect and then believing it to be placebo. Ultimately, this felt more like wishful thinking. A few hours later I went to bed.

After four or five hours of sleeping, I entered the longest lucid dream of my life. Furthermore, it was possible to return to it after briefly waking several times. Characters in my dream were vying for my attention, and I was able to say “no, I’m going to do this other thing / make something else happen because it’s only a dream.” I also remember—while still dreaming—my surprise with being able to remain in that state. The major drawback was feeling exhausted this morning.

Obviously requires more testing, but—if it’s repeatable—I’ve never encountered this strong of an impact on dreams with anything else.

Only supplement that I’m taking which could be relevant to this effect is 5-HTP.

So... you just quidded the leaves? Did you take anything else? How long did you hold the quid/saliva for?
I chewed each set of ~4 leaves (some attached to younger leaves, flower buds, and stems) for 20-30 minutes before washing down with water; essentially topped the plants and decided it was worth testing this ROA.

Was a very lazy quid because I wasn’t expecting much. I’ll likely wait a few days—in case of any potential tolerances—and then will try again with more leaves.
