Crystals turned to goo, and chances of transforming them back

I just checked my second freeze precip, and the liquid was swimming with crystals. After taking the lid off and moving the container around to get a better look at them, the crystals gathered together at the bottom of the jar and then looks like it turned into the same goo i recently scraped the first time. I know you can flip the container upside down when you are almost ready to pull the crystals out of the container, but will I have crystals again in a little bit or should I reheat the solution to dissolve everything and basically start the freeze precip over again. Also, the lid of my container is plastic, which doesn't form a very strong seal, so I was wondering if tightly wrapping the container in plastic wrap then placing the lid on it would be ok. I don't know how naptha reacts to plastic wrap, and if I freeze again I do not really want plastics in my final product, because the lid of the container is also plastic, though of the thick tupperware type.
