So...
I'm planning on eating Datura Seeds. I'm planning on eating ~50 seeds. I know that I couldn't possibly die from an OD with that amount of seeds, but I know that it could be dangerous to do it without a sitter. That's why I 'm planning to do it with a very knowledgeable person that initially disagreed with my experiment, but when he saw that I was very decided, he accepted. He said to me that he would take enough water and food and would take care of me by not allowing me to try to escape from the place (nature, not room) into some sort of street or whatever.
I know I will most likely have deliriums. I've also read the Erowid Datura FAQ.
I also know that these plants are related to Brujeria and the dark spirits, sometimes evil and dangerous forces. I have not the intention to become a brujo or some sort of shaman that works with dark spirits. My intention, as a psychologist, is too better understand the phenomena of delirium and possibly schizophrenia as well. I know there is a risk. I will take it. Another reason is my curiosity... I'm not afraid of having a "bad trip" (Maybe I'm even searching for one). But... my question is:
Are there any tips on setting that someone would like to share?
Can one feel very tempted to follow the dark path after using Datura stramonium / inoxia seeds, if say, one is not precisely a very spiritual / mystical person?
Do you guys feel, like I do, that psychiatrists and clinical psychologists should experience with these kind of plants in order to better understand what some of the patients are going through?
Thanks for your help.
