I believe the seran wrap might be the source of your plastic. be careful using aluminum foil and hydroxides, they combine to makes hydrogen gas that can explode your jars. Lol.

Jep, maybe. When the still hot solvent evaps from the dish and condenses on the saran wrap. I'll just do what it did the other times without actually pulling anything and we will see.

Ok. Yesterday I did the test with hot solvent, my plastic syringe and saran wrap. After one night in the freezer it didn't result in jelly. Will try again. Probably this evening.
