DMT with a MAOI

I someone would make a tea of B. caapi and when it starts to work, that same person would swallow a capsule with maybe 50mg. of freebase DMT, what do you think the result would be? Would the DMT be broken down in the stomach. Does anyone here know anyone that has tried something like this?
 
A Friend of mine had drunk a Cup of Caapi and smoked over some Hours small Doses of DMT. Very nice Experience he said. Should of course work with swallowed DMT also, but can´t give any Advice on Dosage....
 
I think it would work, but maybe the dose is a little on the low side I couldn't find the thread but there is a good dosing guide mentioned on an oral dosing discussion somewhere on this site. something like 100mg being a good introduction, and 150mg getting a little hard to handle I think the HCl in your stomach will react with the freebase straight away to form the water-soluble dmt.hcl. according to wiki the pH in your stomach is usually between 2-3, it's a little low but i doubt it would destroy the dmt
 
It just depends on whether or not the Caapi is enough to fully inhibit your monoamine oxidase. My travel agent finds 150mg to be effective and somewhat intense, but not sufficient for him personally. He says 200mg is a nice ride.

And how much caapi did he use for the brew? And how did he use the dmt? Was it freebase? In a capsule then or was it mixed with the brew? Sorry about all the questions I'm just very curious about this :)
 
DMTripper , perhaps consider doing an extraction from syrian rue for use with the dmt. Their is tribe of elves in antarctica that uses the manske tek for rue extraction with mhrb extracted dmt. They're convinced it's the ultimate entheogen and much prefer it to vaporizing the spice. They tend to use 200 mgs of the rue extract followed 30 minutes later by another 200 mgs of rue and the preferred dose of dmt. They tend to like at least 100 mgs.

What about caapi with shrooms? A friend just picked a lot of shrooms today and he's wandering how it goes with caapi. My friend is used to 3gr. of Liberty cap without problems so how much should he ingest if with caapi? Does anyone here have experience with shrooms+caapi? And is the trip very different apart from being more intense?
 
I've used rue with shrooms but not caapi. There is around a 1.5X potency increase and the trip seems to me to be more cerebral and introspective - more acid like. The overall trip doesn't last longer, but the really intensely high part does.

Caapi isn't just an MAOI.[/quote:e133228ded] I have taken Caapi from 70 to 150g and of course it can be very strong, but thats Part for me drinking Ayahuasca. I don´t do it for the Fireworks. But when you say 20g have been strong for you, then you must be very sensitive. I´m sure most People wouldn´t feel much.

I'd brew up that 50 and take it 20/15/15 at 20 minute intervals. Its interesting solo - just for the sake of knowing whats the caapi and whats the adjunct if nothing else.

I don't know the difference between yellow and white but I'll just try this out carefully. Do it like you said, a little at a time and see how it works. I'm getting more and more curious about caapi. I've read so many stories of people that were really surpirsed about the effects and power of the vine.
 
The white is pretty gentle. The two I was talking about were both yellows - just vastly different. Another yellow I had was a variety called orinhos. It fooled me, it was so trippy I stopped at 15g thinking that if I was that high, I must be MAOIed and took the extract and got very high for about an hour and then wham I was down in thirty minutes. I have some red and black yet to try. Everything I've read about them suggests to leave the adjunct out completely.
 
Hey Noman! Thanx for the advice! It was useful in my first experiment with caapi. I finally had the opportunity to try out the caapi. I soaked 20gr. in water and lime juce over night and then I boiled it for 7 hours. And wow. I'm lucky I didn't go for more to start with. It tasted worse that anything I've ever tasted and It started slowly. At first I started to get relaxed and my body heavier and then I started to notice strange sounds. It's like my attention started to grab sounds outside my window and I also heard a weird humming sound. At first I thought it was my laptop that was running in the living room and I turned it off but the humming sound was still there. I walked like drunk into the kitchen and then I realized the sound was just in my head somewhere :p Then I my hearing started to get very distorted and I was hearing weird metallic echoes. Then my vision became weird and vibrating and I was seeing light flashes. Then I got nauseous and really tired and I lied down and there I was lying on the living room sofa for the next 3 hours and it was like my body was asleep but my mind was very active. And my feelings changing with my thoughts. I didn't purge but I was as close to it as one can get. But I managed to hold it down. I was thinking if I should try to vomit to make me feel better but I was already starting to feel better so I decided to make the medicine go all through my system. While this was going on I didn't feel too good but at times I did and I was very relaxed and got a good rest. I actually asked the vine to give me energy and that's what I got. I've been feeling very tired the last months and lacking energy but since my experiment with the vine I've been feeling more positive and I've had long days at work but I was handling them very well :) And one thing I noticed is that I like music more :) I used to listen very much to music but last 2-3 years it's been like I haven't been often in the mood to listen to music. But the last 2 days it's been like the good old days :) This time I only used 20gr. of the vine but I'm very sensitive to these things. Next time I'm going for 30gr. and it will probably make me purge. And then later I will try admixture to it.
